The Gates of Hell

The Sign of Contradiction
A voice in Rama was heard, lamentation and great mourning; Rachel bewailing her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.

“The Gates of Hell have opened, and all the devils have come out. Evil has been unleashed.” (Bishop Shlemon Warduni, Chaldean Patriarchate via Rorate)

For years now, there has been a little noticed genocide proceeding inexorably against the most vulnerable people in the mideast, Christians. In Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Palestine and Israel, Catholics and Orthodox, vulnerable because they have no religious leaders to command world attention to them, are slowly but very efficiently being driven from their homes and their churches are destroyed. In Mosul and across the plains of Nineveh, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is silenced, displaced by the shrill cry of the muezzin.

Professor Roberto de Mattei has written an insightful series regarding the First World War. It was initially published in Italy’s Il Foglio and is made available in English via Rorate. The link provided is to the Third installment, but the other two are on the site as well. St. Pius X died August 20, 1914, shortly after the start of World War I. To some people, that is an interesting coincidence. Or perhaps, no coincidence at all, if one considers Pope Leo XIII’s prophetic vision of a century long battle between an unleashed satan and Our Lord Jesus Christ.

To understand the link between the start of World War I and the extermination of Christians in the Middle East, you must read Dr. Mattei’s series in Rorate, because he shows clearly that the extermination began in Anatolia all those many years ago. Now, the triumphant march of islamic forces across the mideast and soon, throughout Europe will have no resistance. Just as rich American based financiers financed both sides of both World Wars, they have financed the genocide of Christians. This current pope can be counted on to do nothing substantial to defend the Faith.

On August 13, 1917, we mark the day that the freemasons kidnapped Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco to prevent them from going to the place of apparitions, the Cova da Iria. The Chief Magistrate of Ourem, Arthur Oliveira Santos was the founder of the local Masonic Lodge and an atheist. After imprisoning the children and threatening them with being boiled in oil, he finally let them go. On August 19th, Our Lady appeared again at the Cova da Iria. This time she urged the children, “Pray! Pray a great deal and make sacrifices for sinners, for many souls go to Hell for not having someone to pray and make sacrifices for them.”

Of course, now we have the wisdom of a “humble” pope who mocks faithful Catholics for pelagianism and prayer-counting. And condemns as “unjoyful Catholics” those who seek to obey Our Lady’s requests for prayer and penance. But the fact remains, that for nearly a century, the forces of evil have been gathering strength largely because the good have ignored Our Blessed Mother’s gentle admonitions.

Are you being stripped of all your possessions and driven on foot through searing heat with nothing but the clothes on your back? No? Well, why are you not sacrificing and praying so that the leaders of our church may turn from their sins, repent and be converted once again to be true Catholics and lead their suffering people to safety? The world watches as Christians are slaughtered and the Vicar of Christ high-fives rich protestants, ignoring his suffering flock.

The Catholic hierarchy today are blinded in the darkness of their sin. They need us, all faithful Catholics to follow Our Lady of Fatima’s requests and sacrifice to make reparation for them. They need us. Think of this. Our Lord Jesus Christ has given us His commandment, that we love one another. What is love? It is an act of the will toward good. What is good? Only God is good. Apart from Him, there is no good. Therefore, it is simple, sacrifice and pray that God’s will be done in and through the Pope and hierarchy. The highest good I can will for Pope Francis and this poor, sad bunch of “Excellencies” is that they repent and turn with true humility to God, begging mercy and grace to do His will. Since they are stuck on stupid, so to speak and unaware that they even need God’s mercy, we must pray for God’s grace on them.

It is not enough to simply blog about, — and read and share blog posts about — the latest outrages perpetrated by our misbegotten church leaders. Our Lady gave us our orders: First Saturdays of Reparation, daily rosary, at least 5 mysteries, but preferably all 15, wear — and live! — her brown scapular. This implies of course, Total Consecration to her Immaculate Heart. Please contact me for more information. evensong at returntofatima dot org.

Pray the Rosary and confound the devil!
