“At the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendour that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: ‘Penance, Penance, Penance!’. (Vatican)
One of the main messages of Fatima was the urgent need for penance. In fact, the year prior to Our Lady of the Rosary’s series of visits to Fatima, the Angel of Fatima St. Michael, appeared to the three little shepherds to prepare them for Our Lady’s appearance. That hot summer day 100 years ago was a day like today, shimmering in the stifling heat of summer, when St. Michael appeared to the children as they played listlessly on the old well in the shade of a tree.
‘What are you doing? Pray, pray very much! The Holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary have designs of mercy on you. Offer prayers and sacrifices constantly to the Most High.’
‘How are we to make sacrifices?’ I asked.
‘Make of everything you can a sacrifice, and offer it to God as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended, and in supplication for the conversion of sinners. You will thus draw down peace upon your country. I am its Angel Guardian, the Angel of Portugal. Above all, accept and bear with submission the suffering which the Lord will send you.’
And so, one hundred years have passed and here we are, in the middle of a Jubilee Year of Mercy proclaimed by Pope Francis. Where is the penance, where is the reparation, the sacrificial heart? 2017, we will mark one hundred years after Our Lady appeared at Fatima. Her message – the great prophecy concerning the coming decades if humanity did not obediently turn to God in prayer and reparation -has been virtually disregarded. Instead of honoring the Immaculate Mother of God, the Pope plans to honor Martin Luther, the arch-heretic who offended both Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Mother. In other words, the Pope will honor pride and disobedience as if they were virtue. This diabolical agenda will not pass without consequences.
Apropos to this, Antonio Socci wrote a column in 2014, translated by Christopher Ferrara and available online at Fatima Perspectives. Socci states that it was Pope Benedict himself who confirmed that Fatima is far from over. On a pilgrimage to Fatima on May 13, 2010, Pope Benedict affirmed:
“He deceives himself who thinks that the prophetic mission of Fatima is concluded.” … “there are indicated future realities of the Church which little by little are manifesting themselves… and therefore it is the sufferings of the Church which are announced.”
In that same talk at Fatima, Pope Benedict said,
“Man has the power to unleash a cycle of death and terror, but he is not able to stop it.” And then: “The faith in vast regions of the earth risks being extinguished, like a flame without fuel.”
And lastly, these few words, pregnant with meaning,
“May the seven years which separate us from the centenary of the Apparitions (2017) hasten the prophesied triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the glory of the Most Holy Trinity.”
And yet, what have we seen in these years since Pope Benedict’s prophetic speech?
We have watched the sufferings of the Church escalate to apocalyptical proportions, following Benedict’s strange “resignation” – partial or total – who knows? And the dubious election of Pope Francis, the Pope elected by the St. Gallen Group, the very faction which is dedicated to the irreversible change of the Church.
The auto-demolition of the faith continues, and the most amazing thing is that almost no one is proclaiming the Message of Fatima, much less obeying it! It should be obvious for anyone to see that the command of God through the Immaculate Mother has been disregarded with impunity. Even among the most faithful Catholics, where lip service is given to her message, few actually make it a priority. I have tried to present various Church approved private revelations, such as those of St. Hildegard von Bingen and Blessed Elizabeth Canori-Mora which support the dire warning of Fatima. And also written many posts about the passages in St. John’s Apocalypse that substantiate the warning of Fatima. (Here, here, and here)And also written of our Lady’s severe warning at Akita. I can’t help but wonder if anyone hears.
Occasionally, I notice, or a reader will point out to me, that another blogger has reposted the information in my posts, always without attribution, and that is to be expected these days, I guess. But to use the prophecies without pursuing them to their logical conclusions is to mislead people. Readers, we must do as we were asked to do, by St. Michael, the Angel of Fatima, and by Our Lady herself.
We must make it our first priority to:
“Make of everything you can a sacrifice, and offer it to God as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended, and in supplication for the conversion of sinners. … Above all, accept and bear with submission the suffering which the Lord will send you.”
Our Lady has assured us that we will suffer much but that she will be our sure refuge and the way which will lead us to Heaven. Do not be disheartened! We must not fail in this, for it is entrusted to us. Yes, we are all very weak and sinful people! But we are here now, at this time, in this place, and for this task!
We must make use of all the spiritual weapons she has given us – our Rosaries, Miraculous Medal, Brown Scapular of Mount Carmel, Total Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, First Saturdays of Reparation and Eucharistic Holy Hour wherever you know that the Tabernacle contains the Real Presence. Is the true Mass available to you? Even if it is several hours away, make every effort to attend at least once or twice a month. That is what sacrifice means. I know of a couple who make a very long trip once a month, and unable to afford a motel, they camp out in their vehicle. But at least, they combine their sacrifice with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and are joyful to be able to do this.
It is no longer a question of averting the severe Chastisement that is approaching. Or even mitigating it, I believe. But we must save our souls and those entrusted to us. I believe that the United States will see tremendous natural disasters similar to the prophecy about the Third Secret revealed by Sister Lucia and relayed by Antonio Socci:
“At around 4 p.m. on January 3, 1944, in the chapel of the convent, before the Tabernacle, Lucia asked Jesus to make known His will: “I then felt a friendly hand, maternal and affectionate, touch my shoulder.”
And the Mother of God said to her: “be at peace, and write what I have commanded you, but not, however, that which has been given to you to understand its meaning,” intending to allude to the meaning of the vision which the Virgin herself had revealed.
Immediately afterward, said Sister Lucia,
“I felt my spirit inundated by a mystery of light that is God and in Him I saw and heard: the point of a lance like a flame that is detached, touches the axis of the earth, and it trembles: mountains, cities, towns and villages with their inhabitants are buried. The sea, the rivers, the clouds, exceed their boundaries, inundating and dragging with them, in a vortex, houses and people in a number that cannot be counted. It is the purification of the world from the sin in which it is immersed. Hatred, ambition, provoke the destructive war. After I felt my racing heart, in my spirit a soft voice said: ‘In time, one faith, one baptism, one Church, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic. In eternity, Heaven!’ This word ‘Heaven’ filled my heart with peace and happiness in such a way that, almost without being aware of it, I kept repeating to myself for a long time: Heaven, Heaven.” (Antonio Socci)
From this came the strength to write the Third Secret. …”
When we place these two prophesies side by side, we notice that the vision revealed by the Vatican speaks of an Angel with a flaming sword, crying out for penance. And Sister Lucia’s last reported vision (just above) tells of “the point of a lance like a flame that is detached, touches the axis of the earth”. In Sister Lucia’s last account, mountains, cities and towns are buried and an uncountable number of people swallowed up by the abyss. This echoes Canori-Mora, S. Hildegard and Our Lady of Akita. (See our previous posts)
Yet, Sister Lucia remarks, immediately after this revelation,
“in my spirit a soft voice said: ‘In time, one faith, one baptism, one Church, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic. In eternity, Heaven!’ This word ‘Heaven’ filled my heart with peace and happiness in such a way that, almost without being aware of it, I kept repeating to myself for a long time: Heaven, Heaven.”
For the true child of Mary, there is no contradiction here. For dire as the prophecy of the Chastisement is, like all that comes from our Father, it is a blessing. We need have no fear, but continue to live the Message of Fatima, in prayer and penance, doing all we can to make reparation to the Sacred Hearts and beseeching the conversion of sinners.
While Pope Francis and his friends lead the great mass of Catholics in a reckless race to self-destruction, we trust our beloved Mother and make Sister Lucia’s words our own, “Heaven, Heaven!”
To the few who read this, you can all repeat the following with me, for surely you know it by heart now,
“We are called to renew our daily sacrifices, the humble silent ones no one knows about save us and God. Offer our sacrifices to our thorn-crowned King through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, united with His suffering in all the holy tabernacles of the world in reparation for this faithless generation which everywhere and always blasphemes, outrages and insults Him, pray especially and particularly for the Pope and hierarchy, that they and all poor sinners may be saved, through the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.”
Please continue to pray daily for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the continuing travesty of the Year of False Mercy called for by this unholiest of Holy Fathers.
May God have mercy on us all. Remember, Pray the Rosary and confound the Devil!
~ by evensong for love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of the Holy Rosary, Queen of our hearts!
Vouchsafe that I may praise thee, O Sacred Virgin! Give me strength against thy enemies!
