This morning, I discarded the article scheduled for today. More on that later. Early this morning I read Diane Montagna’s interview with Bishop Athanasius Schneider regarding his recent meeting with Pope Francis. The link is here.
You may be interested in the portion where Montagna reads the controversial passage of the Pope’s Abu Dhabi agreement:
“The pluralism and the diversity of religions, color, sex, race and language are willed by God in His wisdom, through which He created human beings.”
Bishop Schneider responded that when he asked Pope Francis to clarify the pope agreed that
- The diversity of religions is only the permissive will of God and
- The diversity of sexes is NOT a matter of God’s permissive will. (Edit: it is His positive will.)
- However, although the pope “acknowledged that, with this direct comparison, the sentence can be understood erroneously”, his recommendation was “you can say this, too, that the diversity of religions is the permissive will of God.”
Readers, you see yet another proof that Pope Francis intends to maintain his studied ambiguity, refusing Christ’s command to Peter to “confirm thy brethren”. (Luke 22, 32). But that is not news, for we expect nothing less from this marxist pope than the ongoing dialectical dance to destruction of the dogma of the faith.(Pardon the alliteration; we all cope as we can.)
The following portion had more interest for me. Concerning the Vatican’s recent “Summit”, Montagna asked Bishop Schneider what explains the repeated refusal to address the issue of homosexuality at the summit. She mentioned two possible causes: a desire to protect homosexual networks within the hierarchy and the fear of repercussions from the states if the bishops criticized homosexuality.
Bishop Schneider responded that, “The first argument does not have considerable weight in the context of the summit. There are homosexual groups, but in this summit it was not decisive, in my opinion.”
So, to Bishop Schneider the bishops’s refusal to address homosexuality was not due to the Bishops desire to protect homosexual networks. Well, what then? Bishops Schneider stated:
“There are mighty clerical clans among bishops and cardinals who want to promote and change in the Church the divine moral law on the intrinsic evil of homosexual acts and of the homosexual lifestyle. They want to make homosexuality acceptable as a legitimate variant of sexual life. In my view, this is the deepest and perhaps the decisive reason why they were silent and failed to address this.”
Well, I confess I have some difficulty following the logic here. By their refusal to address homosexuality in the clergy, the bishops were not trying to protect homosexual networks in the hierarchy, the cause instead was that “there are mighty clerical clans among bishops and cardinals who want to change the Church’s law on homosexual acts and lifestyle and make it an acceptable lifestyle choice.”
Taken at face value it is almost as though Bishop Schneider is implying that the bishops at the summit were not trying to protect the homo network in the hierarchy, they are the homosexual network, “a mighty clerical clan” who furthermore is determined to make homosexual actions and lifestyles accepted in the life of the church.
So “homosexual network” vs. “mighty clerical clan” determined to make homosexuality acceptable. All right then. All clear now?
And now for the most important, at least for me. The post I had intended for today was another of my heartfelt pleas to heed the message of Fatima and obey Our Lady’s requests. For so many years now, I have been explaining to any and all who pass within my reach that :
Our Lady of the Rosary at Fatima’s requested actions have not been fulfilled, and time is running out.
The necessary Consecration of Russia by the Pope and Bishops of the Church cannot be done until they obtain the grace to do so.
Therefore, it is absolutely necessary that all faithful Catholics, that is laity and priests and any bishops who are able to, establish First Saturdays of Reparation and public Rosary campaigns to establish the rosary in churches, homes and public places in a spirit of reparation and begging for the hierarchy to repent and return to the faith through obeying the full message of Fatima.
The First Saturdays of Reparation are an urgent necessity. Once established in a few parishes and dioceses, graces will follow and that means conversions.
Until the First Saturdays and the true traditional rosary are firmly established, nothing else avails.
And so, it saddened me greatly to see Bishop Schneider urging as his solution to the crisis yet another Credo. Bishop Schneider, return to Fatima. Until you proclaim Our Lady’s message, you are merely shouting into the tempest and your words are lost in the diabolical blast.
Once more, with feeling:
The Church will only be cleansed and restored when the necessary reparation is made. Our Lady asked for the Church to establish the First Saturdays of reparation. She asked for the Rosary to be prayed daily. She preserved from harm many places where there was established reparation, consecration to her Immaculate Heart and of course the Rosary.
In time, it will be done, we have Our Lord’s word on this. But until we do the part assigned to us, and not do other things which are good in themselves but not what we are commanded to do, there will continue to be shock after shock as we descend ever deeper into the special realms of hell reserved for the most intransigent sinners. The material chastisement will catch people’s attention at last, but by then, most will be so hardened that they will only curse God the more and be damned.
And now, I must rest a while –
† Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of our hearts, Mother of the Church, do thou offer to the Eternal Father the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the conversion of poor sinners, especially our Pontiff.
Pray the Rosary, souls depend on it!
