On the Eve of the Presentation of Mary

Tomorrow we honor the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Temple. This feast illustrates the beginning of the life of total humility, total obedience of the most Blessed Virgin Mary. We have a desperate need for this understanding now, when arrogant pride and insatiable, worldly concupiscence are tearing the Holy Church apart.

Tomorrow’s post is but a repost of the Presentation. I do hope you will took at it anyway, for the Truth is not always “new and different”! And the lessons we glean from Our Lady’s feasts are all worth revisiting time after time, even as the Mysteries of her Rosary. Our faith is endangered today from the constant search for “news”. So much of that news is feeding on the scandal and shock resulting from this awful man who possesses the Citadel of the Faith. Let’s leave him to his tawdry schemes and for us, well, we will renew our Consecrations to Jesus through the Immaculata, for to her has been promised the Victory!

It is late so I will hush after this one quote from Father Stehlin’s “Who are You, O Immaculata?”

“In times of the greatest distress, God comes to the aid of the world by sending the Immaculata herself. Through her His actio comes to its full expression, because except for her all the other ways that God has of reaching us have been cut off, as it were, by the Enemy and the devil has occupied and controls all the bastions. God wills to save mankind, even in the end times. But how can this happen, when man can no longer find God’s truth in the confusion of the errors that prevail throughout the world, when he is tempted on all sides to be unfaithful to God and His law and to stray from the path of truth? Through the Immaculata!”

And so we hold firm to the Immaculate Mother of God, our life, our sweetness and our hope!

Remember – Our Lady needs us to obey:  First Saturdays of Reparation, daily rosary, at least 5 mysteries, wear her brown scapular and live your Total Consecration to her Immaculate Heart, offering daily duties in reparation and for the conversion of poor sinners.

†  Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of our hearts, Mother of the Church, do thou offer to the Eternal Father the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the conversion of poor sinners, especially our Pontiff.
