About

This is a traditional Catholic blog, for the purpose of promoting the truth about the message of Our Lady of Fatima and its urgent relevance for our time. The term “Traditional Catholic” used at this site means simply Roman Catholic, adhering to the doctrine and practices of the Roman Catholic faith as it was believed and observed before the Second Vatican Council.

In reality, the battle between Satan and God is the only battle, waged from the very beginning of mankind and continuing in this present moment. Our Lord Jesus Christ offered us the public devotion to His Sacred Heart and when that offer was ignored, He made His final offer to a world increasingly devoid of His light and grace: devotion to the Immaculate Heart of His Mother.

This blog attempts to demonstrate that at Fatima, a merciful God gave us the final means to return to His grace. As each successive Pope has ignored Our Lady’s requests, the Church has suffered increasing assaults until now, apostasy has reached the very summit of the hierarchy.

Thus, we find ourselves in the final stages, as Satan challenges our Lord Jesus Christ for control of the Church, which is the Bride of Christ. The three parts of the great Secret of Fatima are now being fulfilled. The second part of the secret, that is, the material chastisement will soon come to its (now) inevitable cataclysmic conclusion. Meanwhile, Pope Francis and his ilk conclude their final bid to eclipse the true Church with the Church of Man, by extinguishing the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass within all the domain of the Church.  (The third part of the Secret)

The person who currently occupies the See of Peter, presenting himself as the Vicar of Christ, was placed there by the powers that control international banking, and most but not all, of the governments of the world.  This is the spiritual chastisement of the Church and therefore of the world. It must worsen.

Will the enemies of Christ succeed?  The Church is the Bride of Christ, His own Mother is the Mother of the Church. And so we know who it is to whom the victory has been given. These pages are meant, above all, to be a reassurance and a means of helping readers stay close to our most Blessed Mother, “the seat of mercy, of goodness and of pardon, and … the certain door by which we are to enter Heaven.” (Sister Lucia of Fatima)

In this regard, note well that Sister Lucia told Father Fuentes that  “God is giving two last remedies to the world. These are the Holy Rosary and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. ”  Note that she does not mention the Mass.

If you are new to our blog, and would like to understand what we are about, I’ve a short list of posts which readers have suggested as most helpful to them.

The Message of Fatima“.
The Centenary of Fatima and the Passion of the Church“,
Grace Has Fled
“Cold Comfort in the Time of Dry Wood”

At Return to Fatima,  we attempt to explain:
1. What Our Lady requested.
2. That her requests have not been heeded.
3. What we, the faithful must do to comply.
4. What is in store for us at this late date.

Who am I?

What I am not is a visionary, prophet or seer.  I am an old woman with her rosary, thanks be to God.

Why am I anonymous, and what am I hiding?
I do not post my real name out of respect for friends and family members who regret that I have begun this risky endeavor. I regret it too, but at this point, must continue until I finish this task or become unable to complete it.

As far as hiding something, I wish it were possible, but it is here on display for all to see. Feel free to comment. We have a comment box beneath most posts and our email is evensong at return to Fatima dot org.

Congratulations for your blog which I usually read… I like the love you show writing about the message of our Blessed Mother in Fátima.
I have translated into spanish your post about the devotion of Divine Mercy/vs the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus (dominica in albis). I have privately send the translation to a friends of mine.
I can’t write in english fluently, so I will say no more.
    God bless you!

    • Ana, thank you so very much for your kindness!
I appreciate you sharing my writing.
      I pray for you always,
May Our Lord bless you always and our Lady keep you close to her Immaculate Heart!

I am an advancing in middle age lady with my daily rosary. I agree about Fatima and Akita. And I see that those who promote Our Blessed Lady’s messages from Fatima are often persecuted. I think of the Franciscans of the Immaculate and their wonderful Days with Mary that is totally devoted to Our Lady of Fatima with songs, processions, confessions, and holy Mass….and how those holy endeavors are almost all gone now due to persecution from the powers that be in the Vatican. Those powers even want the Marian Vow of unlimited consecration to Jesus through Mary to be voided out! There is a great hatred against Our Lady from many in power positions. Yet we know in the end her Immaculate Heart will triumph and as we await that full glory, we trust in the Divine Mercy of her Son and do our best to live an intense prayer and sacramental life.

I have been reading past posts on your site and came across the links to the books at archive.org – The Whole Truth about Fatima. I finished the first part and am on the second one. I am so very thankful for coming across these links. Thank you for letting readers know about them. I find myself like Jacinta, so worried that no one is thinking about hell and the reality of it, and that so many go there. I feel like I can’t even bring up my fear of hell to our parish priest – NO one talks about it. I am struck by the visionaries words and the reality of hell and then feel so crazy when the world around me doesn’t seem to care? Any thoughts? Thank you and God bless you.

    • Dana, priests who were ordained after Vatican II are often, but not always, deficient in their theology and shockingly, and even deficient in their faith. Although I attend SSPX, my diocesan Bishop’s magazine did an article on “teaching children about the Mass” that advised parents to explain the Mass thusly: Mass is like visiting friends, we greet them, share stories, share a meal, then say our goodbyes. Honestly!
Dana, the world around us truly does not care. Grace has fled.

The most urgent need is for each of us to follow the program offered us by the Immaculata, which I’ve posted about extensively.
If each of us devoted as much time as possible to simply drawing nearer to Our Lady,
      * 15 minutes with her quietly each day
      * daily Rosary
      * strive to advance our Total Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through her Immaculate Heart,
      * living our brown scapular (not simply wearing it)
      * offer up our daily duties in a spirit of loving reparation for sins against the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts,
      * fast
      * alms according to our ability
      * Make our First Saturdays of Reparation. If unable to do this on the First Saturday, consult your priest who may dispense you and allow them to be observed on Sundays.

With this simple program, we find the people we meet becoming more open to our message. Opportunities will present themselves. We need not force it, but only allow space for Our Lady to work.

In time, we learn to become the broom in her hands, to do with as she wills.
God bless and Mary keep you, dear,
      evensong

I very much appreciate your response and will take it to heart. Thank you again. I so look forward to your posts and learn so much from them. Peace to you.. Dana

  4. Cynthia Mayher says:

Thank you for all you are doing to promote, clarify and encourage the Fatima message! What else can we do to restore the Seat of Peter to the rightful pontiff?

    • Cynthia, regarding your question, “What else can we do to restore the Seat of Peter to the rightful pontiff?”:
Have you read my page The Message of Fatima” ?
If I have expressed it correctly, after reading it the answer should be clear to you.
Additionally, you must read the post, The Angel of Fatima, which explains the penance (sacrifice) which God demands of us at this time.
If it still is not clear, I promise to respond with more precision. In fact, it may be time for me to post on this again.
In any event, please read those two pages and let me know what you think.
I appreciate that you have taken the time to ask me. Very few do so.
May Our Lord bless you and may Our Lady keep you close,

  5. Ned Jacobs says:

God bless you, Evensong. I see you are concentrating on Fatima, and I understand your desire not to be commenting on this and that, but do you have anything you would like to share regarding Garabandal? Didn’t Padre Pio say our Blessed Mother appeared there? Many thanks.

    • Mr. Jacobs, I have revised this page and so I should also revise my reply to you. The quote I originally replied with now reads,

“Of these, Fatima is the Queen and culmination of them all; and the others prepared us for the message of Fatima and help us understand the importance of complying with Our Lady of Fatima’s requests. It is a grievous mistake to seek beyond what Our Lady herself has given us at Fatima and Akita. Akita was given only because the Vatican refused to obey the Blessed Virgin’s requests. It is a stern warning against disobeying Our Lady.

I must warn you strongly to avoid any prophecy after Fatima except Akita. In order to diminish and obscure the essential truth of Fatima, Lucifer has many times distracted people, and even fooled Popes and some holy persons with false apparitions.

Our Lady gave us the complete truth that we need at Fatima. Akita simply reinforces the same message. There is no other. Readers write me to contest this and I refuse to “dialogue” about it. Fatima is complete. It is a great insult to Our Lady to keep looking for other “messages”, and it endangers many souls.”

Mr. Jacobs, I am not wise enough or strong enough to combat all the errors which satan is using to draw souls away from the Immaculate Heart of Mary by means of this deluge of false prophecies. All I can do is warn you and all others who ask, Please do not be fooled, Let yourself be led by the Immaculata.”

Very soon, those who have not turned to her, and consecrated themselves to our Lord Jesus Christ through her Immaculate Heart, may find themselves unable to do so.

I beg you all, turn aside from any other distraction, no matter how pious you now believe it to be, and seek her guidance, ask her help to serve Our Lord through her Immaculate Heart. She will not fail you!

      We must stop offending her!

  6. Mona Lisa says:

My dear, I am also an old woman with her rosary, clinging to it and Our Sorrowful and Immaculate Mother for dear life! Prayers for your recovery ascending on high…

  7. Linda says:

God bless you for speaking the truth about the full message of Fatima!
I have been studying Fatima for over 25 years and have seen how so many Fatima advocates have twisted the truth. I look to the prophecies of Our Lady of Good Success for the restoration of our Church and Our Lady’s Triumph once Russia is consecrated in the proper formula!
Hope your health improves. God bless.

    • Thank you so much for your kindness.
You are right about so many false Fatima “advocates” – they have the temerity to use Our Lady to promote themselves and delude themselves that because it appears they get away with it, that God approves of them. We shall see …
God bless you dear, and may Our Lady keep you close.
