[March 24, 2017: Today, I reposted a perennial favorite, a poem on the Annunciation and Incarnation. I made the mistake of appending a foreword to it, in which I stated my response to the “regularization” dialogue. I should not have appended my opinions on the work of peregrine, and so I took it down. However, I am posting my response to the SSPX regularization dialogue here on this page.

I am sorry to lose readers but  I spoke out of love and respect for the true head of the Church, Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is suffering greatly in this crisis. Any agreement with this pope, who really does not appear to be a Catholic at all, but almost an “anti-Catholic”, will be detrimental to the Faith, to the true Mass and to our good and faithful priests.

There can be no doubt that Our Lady will sustain our good priests, for they are her most beloved children, but still many souls will be placed in danger if the Society falls prey to Bergoglio’s revolution; and no “agreement” no matter how ironclad legally, will protect them because this pope has no more regard for the law than he does for Our Lord in the most Blessed Sacrament.

Here is the comment I made that has cost me so much grief:

Regarding SSPX “Regularization”

I have watched in increasing perplexity the unfolding drama of the “regularization” dialogue with apostate Rome. I was not blessed with a brilliant mind, but I do have a great love for for Our Lord and His Blessed Mother. Given my limitations, this situation presents itself to me in very simple, clear terms:

Does Pope Francis, in any way, show us his love of, reverence for, Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Church he founded? Does he show us, teach us his flock, love for, reverence for, Our Lord’s Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary?

If Pope Francis does not, then he is no friend, no follower of Jesus Christ, our Savior and the true Head of the One True Church founded by Him.  If therefore, Pope Francis is no friend of Our Lord Jesus Christ, why is Bishop Fellay associating himself with this pope? We are not to associate ourselves with those who betray Christ, are we?

In my pain, I tend to forget, and so I remind myself, and you too, that when we have prayed so profoundly to Our Most Blessed Mother, we must then let go of our burden and trust in her love for us, her children. For it would be an insult to her to continue to be in anguish once we have entrusted our cares to her.

About ReturntoFatima and the author, evensong.

This is a traditional Catholic blog, for the purpose of promoting the truth about the message of Our Lady of Fatima, and its urgent relevance for our time. The term “Traditional Catholic” used at this site means simply Roman Catholic, adhering to the doctrine and practices of the Roman Catholic faith as it was believed and observed before the Second Vatican Council. This site supports the priests of the Society of St. Pius X founded by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre who will, in a saner time, be recognised as the saint who kept the Catholic faith alive in the darkest of times through his unfailing humility and obedience to the true Head of the Church.

Our Policy

I do not seek or accept donations from readers nor do I attempt to promote my site in any way other than by spiritual practice and writing posts dedicated to  the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Why am I doing this?

I believe that the Message Our Lady of the Rosary brought to us at Fatima, if understood properly holds the key to understanding the Apocalypse as Sister Lucia of Fatima attempted to explain to the faithful. She was silenced and her message was suppressed, misinterpreted and co-opted to serve the ancient enemy. This enemy has flooded the world with false apparitions, many of which are pious frauds, that is, they contain nothing counter to the faith, but simply serve to smother the Fatima Message with platitudes to distract from and dilute the true message.

It is Fatima alone that holds the key to your salvation in this crisis. Without it, you may survive spiritually, since God’s mercy is unfathomable and He saves whomever He wills, but why would you risk it, when He offers you the simple and secure way of the Immaculata? Do you really think it wise to spurn this merciful path He offers you?

An additional goal of my writing here is to counter some of the errors about Fatima, such as that “the chastisement is easing… and bound to fall apart eventually”, and that “just when all seems lost… will be the happy beginning of the complete restoration”. Those assertions which have achieved widespread support among the faithful are deceptive because they use partial truths in order to obscure the full truth, which is that Our Lady repeatedly warned that if her requests were not heeded a severe chastisement was in store for all mankind.

It is a shame that this is being done by those in whom so many have trusted. The full truth is that Our Lady’s requests have not been obeyed and the situation is extremely dire. If you were standing on the shore and saw the tide withdraw for a full mile out, you would not placidly remark, “Well, the tide goes and the tide comes, and in the end, her Immaculate Heart will triumph”. Yes, “her Immaculate Heart will triumph in the end”, but before then, there is much that we must do. We are here for a reason. Each of us has a role that must be played correctly, for our souls and the souls entrusted to us. False optimism misleads many and this is such a shame.

To counteract this prevailing error, I have attempted in this blog to explain:
1. What Our Lady requested.
2. That her requests have not been heeded.
3. What we, the faithful must do to comply.
4. What is in store for us at this late date.

Since I do not promote my blog in any way, I depend on readers to spread the message. So far, that has not happened to any appreciable extent. Which leads to the unavoidable conclusion that I am perhaps using the wrong forum. So, I am working on an ebook which will attempt to do what I tried with this blog, that is, examine the true message of Fatima, within the context of current events and approved private and scriptural prophecy, especially the Apocalypse of St. John.

Who am I?
I am an old woman with her rosary, thanks be to God.

Why am I anonymous, and what am I hiding?
I do not post my real name out of respect for friends and family members who regret that I have begun this risky endeavor. I regret it too, but at this point, must continue until I finish this task or become unable to complete it. As far as hiding something, I wish it were possible, but regrettably my faults are here on display for all to see. I cannot hide it.

  1. Regarding SSPX and the Pope, I state this – I was taken from the wonderful latin masses at the local SSPX church by Our Blessed Lady Herself – just last year; it was about late May or early June.
This is not a scam; it really did happen.
Following that event; which surprised me greatly – as I was very comfortable with the reverence always present at SSPX mass and devotions etc., She got me to visit Her at Knock on the feast day of the Assumption.
Here is one link to a published copy but is only of the top half of the cloud.
Inspect it; you will eventually see the three distinct faces depicted. One is of the darkness himself. Be patient. It is important given your affiliation and that it was given following Her intervention in my attachment to SSPX.

    • Mr. O’Shea, I don’t usually allow links due to my inability to take time to follow all the links sent by readers. This time I checked out the link and see no benefit to posting it.
I am not sure what your comment is about. Are you saying that Our Lady took you away, that is discouraged you from attending SSPX Chapel?
If so, an “apparition” such as this could as easily have been from a less trustworthy source. Before leaving the Mass and sacraments there, I would have recommended you seek counsel of your priest.
Although I oppose any agreement with the odious person in the Vatican, I do support the priests of the Society of St. Pius X. In this time of crisis, we need the grace of God more than ever, and to spurn the graces He makes available through the Mass and sacraments at Chapel, is unwise.
I believe that we are called to this spiritual battle and need to apply ourselves to waging it with prayer, especially the rosary, sacrifices, and fasting.
May Our Lady bring you to the Truth,
In the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary,

I have been reading past posts on your site and came across the links to the books at archive.org – The Whole Truth about Fatima. I finished the first part and am on the second one. I am so very thankful for coming across these links. Thank you for letting readers know about them. I find myself like Jacinta, so worried that no one is thinking about hell and the reality of it, and that so many go there. I feel like I can’t even bring up my fear of hell to our parish priest – NO one talks about it. I am struck by the visionaries words and the reality of hell and then feel so crazy when the world around me doesn’t seem to care? Any thoughts? Thank you and God bless you.

    • Dana, priests who were ordained after Vatican II are often, but not always, deficient in their theology and shockingly, and even deficient in their faith. Although I attend SSPX, my diocesan Bishop’s magazine did an article on “teaching children about the Mass” that advised parents to explain the Mass thusly: Mass is like visiting friends, we greet them, share stories, share a meal, then say our goodbyes. Honestly!
Dana, the world around us truly does not care. Grace has fled.
If you read my posts you should know my thoughts on this, as many of them address this fact.
At this point, the most urgent need is for each of us to follow the program offered us by the Immaculata, which I’ve posted about extensively. I will repost and update on that soon. But if each of us devoted as much time as possible to simply drawing nearer to Our Lady, 15 minutes with her quietly each day in addition to your rosary, working to advance your Total Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through her Immaculate Heart, living your brown scapular (not simply wearing it), and so on, I promise, this will transform your life. As you pray, offer up your daily duties in a spirit of loving reparation for sins against the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts, and fasting and alms as you are able, you will find the people you meet becoming more open to your message. Opportunities will present themselves. You need not force it, allow space for Our Lady to work.
I began to realize that I am only effective to the extent I accept my nothingness and become the broom in her hands, to do with as she wills.
God bless and Mary keep you, dear,

I very much appreciate your response and will take it to heart. Thank you again. I so look forward to your posts and learn so much from them. Peace to you.. Dana

  3. Cynthia Mayher says:

Thank you for all you are doing to promote, clarify and encourage the Fatima message! What else can we do to restore the Seat of Peter to the rightful pontiff?

    • Cynthia, regarding your question, “What else can we do to restore the Seat of Peter to the rightful pontiff?”:
Have you read my page The Message of Fatima” ?
If I have expressed it correctly, after reading it the answer should be clear to you.
Additionally, you must read the post, The Angel of Fatima, which explains the penance (sacrifice) which God demands of us at this time.
If it still is not clear, I promise to respond with more precision. In fact, it may be time for me to post on this again.
In any event, please read those two pages and let me know what you think.
I appreciate that you have taken the time to ask me. Very few do so.
May Our Lord bless you and may Our Lady keep you close,

  4. Ned Jacobs says:

God bless you, Evensong. I see you are concentrating on Fatima, and I understand your desire not to be commenting on this and that, but do you have anything you would like to share regarding Garabandal? Didn’t Padre Pio say our Blessed Mother appeared there? Many thanks.

    • Mr. Jacobs, I have revised this page and so I should also revise my reply to you. The quote I originally replied with now reads,

“Of these, Fatima is the Queen and culmination of them all; and the others prepared us for the message of Fatima and help us understand the importance of complying with Our Lady of Fatima’s requests. It is a grievous mistake to seek beyond what Our Lady herself has given us at Fatima and Akita. Akita was given only because the Vatican refused to obey the Blessed Virgin’s requests. It is a stern warning against disobeying Our Lady.

I must warn you strongly to avoid any prophecy after Fatima except Akita. In order to diminish and obscure the essential truth of Fatima, Lucifer has many times distracted people, and even fooled Popes and some holy persons with false apparitions.

Our Lady gave us the complete truth that we need at Fatima. Akita simply reinforces the same message. There is no other. Readers write me to contest this and I refuse to “dialogue” about it. Fatima is complete. It is a great insult to Our Lady to keep looking for other “messages”, and it endangers many souls.”

Mr. Jacobs, I am not wise enough or strong enough to combat all the errors which satan is using to draw souls away from the Immaculate Heart of Mary by means of this deluge of false prophecies. All I can do is warn you and all others who ask, Please do not be fooled, Let yourself be led by the Immaculata.”

Very soon, those who have not turned to her, and consecrated themselves to our Lord Jesus Christ through her Immaculate Heart, may find themselves unable to do so.

I beg you all, turn aside from any other distraction, no matter how pious you now believe it to be, and seek her guidance, ask her help to serve Our Lord through her Immaculate Heart. She will not fail you!

      We must stop offending her!

  5. Mona Lisa says:

My dear, I am also an old woman with her rosary, clinging to it and Our Sorrowful and Immaculate Mother for dear life! Prayers for your recovery ascending on high…

  6. Linda says:

God bless you for speaking the truth about the full message of Fatima!
I have been studying Fatima for over 25 years and have seen how so many Fatima advocates have twisted the truth. I look to the prophecies of Our Lady of Good Success for the restoration of our Church and Our Lady’s Triumph once Russia is consecrated in the proper formula!
Hope your health improves. God bless.

    • Thank you so much for your kindness.
You are right about so many false Fatima “advocates” – they have the temerity to use Our Lady to promote themselves and delude themselves that because it appears they get away with it, that God approves of them. We shall see …
God bless you dear, and may Our Lady keep you close.
