Thoughts of a dry brain

For some reason, readers have asked for an encore of this old post from 3 years ago. So much has happened since this was posted a few years back. But since you asked, here goes another trip down memory lane…

The Never-ending Springtime of Vatican II
The Never-ending Springtime of Vatican II

A funny thing happened today. Odd how little things can build up and suddenly, boom! Your life has changed irreversibly in just one small moment. For years now, my husband and I have been sneaking down to Mass at the SSPX Chapel an hour and a half drive from us. In heavy traffic, the drive can take twice as long. I say that we sneak, because most Sundays, we have to settle for a TLM at a Novus Ordo Parish we will call St. Nowhere in a city closer to us. The Latin Mass community at that Church has strong antipathy towards the SSPX and I was shunned for nearly a year after merely mentioning that I support them financially.  The priest at St. Nowhere, we’ll call Father X, told members of the TLM Community that the Bishop does not allow parishioners to attend SSPX Mass and inferred that to do so was grounds for excommunication. Now I did not hear him say that because as luck would have it, I was at SSPX Mass that Sunday.  But the same priest asked me once, why I missed Mass the previous Sunday. I am ashamed to say I did my infamous little, “Oh look, there’s a butterfly!” ditsy old lady thing and slipped away from him.

However, today, that viral video of the candlelight procession by the SSPX community in Kansas was sent to me by a prominent member of our local Latin Mass Society. I responded rather more strongly than I should have and just to be honest about things, I copied it to the St. Nowhere priest. After going that far, I was flush with the exuberance one gets from derring-do, and so I decided to forward my response to a couple other Catholics who attend St. Nowhere’s Latin Mass in case they might like to know of my wickedness. I attached an explanatory note to them as well. Since the cat’s out of the bag,  I may as well let you all in on it, in fact, just shout it from the housetops! Here is a merged version of what I wrote in both emails:

Thank you for the video, Marie (Not her real name). I have been a supporter of SSPX for years now and whenever I am well enough to travel, we make the grueling (for us) trip to (-SSPX Chapel_).

I have heard that Father _X_  has said we may not attend Mass there and also heard that the Bishop does not approve. So have tried to keep silent, but can do so no longer.

The neo-modernists of the Bergoglio/Kasper/Danneels faction are using homosexuals and divorcees not for the good of their souls, not for true mercy for these poor people, but solely to attack Our Lord in His Sacrament of Love. What a horrible hoax to play on poor sinners! Not to show them the way to true repentance and the fulness of grace and everlasting happiness in Heaven, but to further damn them to hell by compounding their mortal sins.

The pawns in all this are the sinners, who are being mislead by the very shepherds who should help them.
What kind of “field hospital of the faith” is P. Francis running? It deliberately infects poor sinners, already suffering mortal wounds, with more fatal disease, while denying them the simple cure!

It seems hypocritical for some who call themselves traditional Catholics to keep acting as though the SSPX is evil. I know them and they are genuinely the Remnant of the Faith that will, by their constant reparations and rosaries bring Our Immaculate Mother’s victorious return and restore the Faith.

At SSPX Chapel, there are prayers before every Mass for Pope Francis, they are respectful and I have personally been excoriated by Father _V_ for being uncharitable about the Pope. I am guilty as charged! Father V  urges us to offer penance and prayers for the pope and the hierarchy, as Our Lady of Fatima requested.

I love the Church and that is why I cannot continue to give tacit approval of what I see happening in this papacy. It is difficult to grasp how in the name of mercy, those living in a persistent state of mortal sin are being welcomed into receiving the Blessed Sacrament, yet I am to be cast out, for simply attending a Society Mass? Amazing.

In this farcical Synod, they are discussing institutionalizing Eucharistic sacrilege. To attempt to excommunicate me for attending a reverent Mass when all this sacrilege and desecration of the Blessed Sacrament is being rammed through, is beyond ludicrous. But we will see how it plays out. Meanwhile, we will go on down to (SSPX Chapel) next Sunday. There, we have Rosary before Mass with prayers for the Pope, a reverent Missa Cantata, followed by an hour of Eucharistic adoration with prayers for the Pope and the Synod. The congregation did their own Eucharistic Rosary procession last Sunday for the Synod. These people are praying and offering penances for the Church in this time of trial, so by all means, they should be excommunicated!

By the way, apropos Father Rosica at the Synod Press briefing, where he mentioned polygamy: If they open up to polygamy in Africa, that will destroy the beautiful, faithful African Church, the most vital and fervent ground of the Faith today, which is giving us saints and martyrs for the glory of God and His Church. It is a terrible blow, all in the name of Kasper’s damnable “mercy”. I won’t be a part of it.

Before long, I will be probably unable to travel to (SSPX Chapel)  for Mass. When that happens, Father will come here to offer Mass. If you know of anyone interested in attending, feel free to give them my contact information.

I will hush now. Thank you,

evensong

Well, it is now 1 a.m. and time for Matins, yet am still at the computer getting ready to post this. As I think back on the events of the day, I am having second thoughts. Some of our family still go there to the TLM at St. Nowhere’s and they will have to face the disapproval of Father X and the TLM community. Perhaps it was thoughtless of me. Then I wax indignant again. With all the problems facing faithful Catholics in this dysfunctional Church, why does it fall to me to be the stereotypical bad guy?

Wish I could recall that quote from Orwell, you know, the one about how subversive it is to tell the truth in a sick society? But it is late and I am old, and very tired, and my Church is in ruins.

Oh God come to my assistance, O Lord, make haste to help me.

[UPDATE, February 5, 2016: My husband and I are still forbidden to receive Holy Communion at the Diocesan Traditional Latin Mass. Father X has wholeheartedly embraced the new “Mercy Agenda” of Pope Francis. Those who still attend the TLM there never need fear they will hear the intolerant words of Jesus against adultery, for all that is cast aside in favor of the serene theology of Cardinal Kasper and the tender mercies of Pope Francis.]

“In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph!”

Queen of the most Holy Rosary, establish the reign of thine Immaculate Heart in my heart, in the Church, and in the world!

St. Joseph, protector of the Church, protect our priests!

Remember, pray the Rosary and confound Satan!

God made you like this

Pope Francis explains what is happening and why.

No, he has not broken his self-righteous silence, but if we look back on a recent event, we may understand his motives. Pope Francis is not going to back down from his complicity with the Lavender/St. Gallen Mafia which put him in office. In the first place, he is as he boasts, “by the will of Christ Himself – the supreme Pastor and Teacher of all the faithful”. And that he enjoys, “supreme, full, immediate, and universal ordinary power in the Church”.

In the second place, he believes that for an older homosexual man to force his will on a young, but physically mature boy is beneficial to the boy. This is not a new concept, it is thousands of years old. And today, sodomy between a man and a boy is a well respected tradition of initiation within the very circles that have gained control in the Church.  As we explained in The Pitchman“:

“God made you like this”

“Juan Carlos, that you are gay does not matter. God made you like this and loves you like this and I don’t care. The pope loves you like this. You have to be happy with who you are.”

Pope Francis said that during an interview with Juan Carlos Cruz, one of the victims in in the Chilean clerical sex abuse scandal. Cruz, who now declares himself a homosexual, is thus lauded by Pope Francis in a way that echoes the talking points of NAMBLA.

According to NAMBLA, one of their stated goals includes: “to educate society about the positive and beneficial nature of man/boy love, and to support men and boys involved in consensual sexual and emotional relationships with each other.”

Passing strange isn’t it? The Vicar of Christ speaking as though he were a “card-carrying” member of NAMBLA, (the North American Man Boy Love Association). They firmly avow that they are doing young men a service; as one member once assured me, “I was making good citizens of them.”

Pope Francis uttered that blasphemous lie in the same breath with which he assured Cruz that he is the Pope. That is to say, he used his position as Vicar of Christ to deceive a young victim of a homosexual priest-predator.

Oh yes, Juan Carlos Cruz must “be happy” with who he is, for “God” made him that way. Whose “God” might that be? Why, the “God” of Pope Francis, of course. This demonstrates to us that this pope will not in any substantive way hinder the homosexual agenda in the Church. And Catholics throughout the Church are angry and betrayed as they should be. He does not believe that he can be removed from his position. “Supreme Pastor and Teacher of all the faithful!”

Most Catholic commentators realize this, and are in favor of the civil and criminal investigations which are cropping up across the United States and beginning in other countries as well.  Their sentiments were reflected by a commentator I admire very much, Rorate’s Joseph Shaw, “Yes, let it all come out, even if some of the abusers turn out to be people we like and have trusted. As St Catherine of Siena said: “We’ve had enough exhortations to be silent. Cry out with a thousand tongues – I see the world is rotten because of silence.” (LINK)

Of course, he is right. These sins do cry out to heaven and the truth must be told. But we should bear in mind also that there is an agenda behind this.  We will soon see this crisis used to strip the Church of her properties, her wealth and her very last shred of dignity. And tragically, our Pope of Affliction will do not one thing to defend the pure and holy Bride of Christ. For this is the hour of Judas, and the power of darkness. The ancient enemy of Christ and His Church holds all the power of the world’s nations, as well as all the earthly power in the Church. Since those who lead the Church now and even most of the laity, no longer believe in the spiritual power of the Church, no longer wish to avail themselves of the powerful but humble weapons given to them by Our Lady of the Rosary at Fatima, it seems that we must proceed, as Jesus Christ our Savior did, to trudge the path to Calvary. How long, oh Lord, how long?

†  Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of our hearts, Mother of the Church, do thou offer to the Eternal Father the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the conversion of poor sinners, especially our Pontiff.

~ by evensong for love of the Immaculata.

Note to my friends and loyal readers. I have worked overly hard to share with you an interpretation of what is happening and why it is happening in order to emphasise one thing only. All of this, every single item of every event that is occurring is for one reason only. In every event, God Who loves you so much that He willed to save you at the cost of His suffering and death, wants you to turn from your own ways of doing things, your own solutions to your problems, and avail yourself of His mercy and Hig generous graces, which are ONLY to be found in the one, true faith He established.

The Church remains pure and holy, even as Her founder, Our Lord Jesus Christ. When He lay in the dirt, bruised, bleeding, spit upon and seeming defeated, He remained the pure and spotless Victim, offered for our sins. And when His dead body was laid in our Blessed Mother’s arms, even then, He was preparing His Resurrection. The devil rejoiced to see His broken body and His Sorrowful Mother’s copious bitter tears. He rejoices now, as he sees Catholics fleeing the Church in disgust.

By leaving, they deprive themselves of the sanctifying grace which is essential for their soul’s survival in these times. Despite what they may think, sanctifying grace, the true life of God for your soul, only comes from the true sacraments in the true church. Those who have broken from the faith are abandoning the only means for their salvation. We are obligated to pray and offer penance for them, but do not look back at them.

Let them go, for Our Lord knows His own and they know Him. Those who insist on following Him in their own way, well, they are dross, let them go. Only by obedience to God’s merciful message of Fatima, through devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, ever obedient, will we be saved.

Please do not allow others to mislead you by spreading errors about the Society of St. Pius X. It is the true Remnant that will save the Church. Do not take my word but pray your Rosary and Our Lady will lead you to the Truth!

I will rest a while but have arranged for several re-posts of popular articles at the appropriate time. I do hope that you will continue to pray for our priests who are suffering a white martyrdom now, perhaps to prepare them for what is to follow.

I pray for you always, thank you for reading.

Apocalypse Chapters 1-3

We return to the beginning to discover a surprise – the letters to the Churches, written millenia ago, provide valuable insight for just these days. Of course, each century of the Church’s history has been able to say that to some extent, but as we read the first three chapters, we do see a rather astonishing array of lessons for the Church in this most troubled time. Our readings are taken today from Apocalypse 1-3, Catholic Bible Online.

When St. John the beloved Apostle set down the words revealed to him in the Apocalypse, he began with:

“The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto Him, to make known to His servants the things which must shortly come to pass: and signified, sending by His angel to His servant John, who hath given testimony to the word of God, and the testimony of Jesus Christ, what things soever he hath seen. Blessed is he, that readeth and heareth the words of this prophecy; and keepeth those things which are written in it; for the time is at hand.”

The first thing we notice is the phrase, “must shortly come to pass” which is then repeated for emphasis in the end, “For the time is at hand”. And when was this written? So you see that the timeframe expressed in sacred scripture is vastly different from our timeframe. An instructor once remarked on this timeframe that ours is, “like a mayfly’s”.

Continuing in Chapter 1, we see,

“I was in the spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, saying: What thou seest, write in a book, and send to the seven churches which are in Asia, to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamus, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

The Pitchman

A  disturbing and unexpected side-effect of the Chilean clerical sex abuse scandal has been the conversation reported by Juan Carlos Cruz, one of the three young men who reported priest sex abuse.

“Speaking to Spanish newspaper El País, Cruz said: “He [the Pope] told me,
‘Juan Carlos, that you are gay does not matter. God made you like this and loves you like this and I don’t care.
“The pope loves you like this. You have to be happy with who you are.”

In an earlier post, we noted, “See what a master of Public Relations this pope is. He is using the unfortunate victim of clerical abuse, Cruz, to demonstrate, “Look at him, he’s a sodomite, and he’s happy! God loves Him this way, therefore sexual abuse is not abuse at all. It is merely an initiation rite into the elite!”

Thus, the pope skillfully spins the priest sex abuse scandal into a happy outcome. It can’t have been so tragic for the lad, after all, because Cruz accepts sodomy as his lifestyle now. The impression is given that if he likes it now, he must not have been too traumatized by it then. Poor Cruz doesn’t even realized that he is continuing to be a victim.

In fact, the North American Man Boy Love Association (NAMBLA)  has been making just that point for years now. Their motivation is clearly self-interest, as is the Pope’s in this case. By assuring Cruz that “God loves you like this” and “The pope loves you like this”, the pope is jovially conveying the message that no harm was done, because Cruz obviously prefers sodomy so much that he makes it his personal identity.

From Joseph Sciambra’s review of the film, “Call me by your name”,

“One of the more disturbing and deceptive aspects of the film is the usually awkward Elio suddenly becoming aggressive towards his attraction for Oliver; even after being rebuffed – he grabs the older man’s crotch. This sort of misrepresentation is reminiscent of NAMBLA and child molester talking-points who repeatedly claim that abused children instigated and enjoyed their own molestation. This delusional thought pattern by male pedophiles was horrifically explored in the 1994 documentary “Chicken Hawk: Men Who Love Boys,” in which several men explained how children supposedly flirted and seduced them.

Alfie and the Archbishop

This post updated 1 May, 2018

The Archbishop referred to would be Vincenzo Paglia, who holds the distinction of heading both the Pontifical Academy for Life and the Pontifical Institute for Marriage and Family Sciences.

In the wake of the tragic death of Alfie Evans, the child victim of  Britain’s progressively “benevolent” end of life care, some readers have suggested that we consider the role of Pope Francis in all this.

Some while back, Dr.  Elizabeth Wickham of Lifetree (link in sidebar) pointed out that Pope Francis had gutted the Pontifical Academy for Life and had filled it with advocates for population control from abortion and contraception to end of life. Today, Dr.  Wickham suggested that we consider the struggle of  Alfie Evans and his family in the light of Pope Francis and his agenda at the Pontifical Academy for Life (PAV). I am very grateful for her timely reminder.

NOTE: There is a very  bad picture after the break below. It is a picture on a mural in  a Catholic Cathedral and it vividly expresses the truth about Pope Francis and his Pontifical Council for Life.

Islam and the Errors of Russia

Today, a repost of an especially timely article from 2015.

Well, October came and went and not only was Our Lady of Fatima not obeyed, but the Bergoglio/Danneels wrecking crew continued to push forward their agenda to irrevocably change the Church’s faith and practice in the sacraments and in marriage. This arrogant disobedience is now bearing exactly the fruit that was inevitable. As the muslim invasion of Europe and America continues towards the islamification of the West, let’s look at the reality of islam in the light of the Fatima prophecy of the Errors of Russia.

The Goal of Islam: Global Domination via Jihad
The Goal of Islam: Global Domination via Jihad

A question was asked of me recently, “Where does islam fit in with the ‘errors of Russia’ “? If, by the errors of Russia, we understand a totalitarian, soul-destroying regime, then, islam fits the bill quite nicely. In fact, Islam and Marxism (dialectical materialism) have much in common.

“Bolshevism combines the characteristics of the French Revolution with those of the rise of Islam… Those who accept Bolshevism become impervious to scientific evidence, and commit intellectual suicide. Even if all the doctrines of Bolshevism were true, this would still be the case, since no unbiased examination of them is tolerated…Among religions, Bolshevism is to be reckoned with Mohammedanism [Islam] rather than with Christianity and Buddhism. Christianity and Buddhism are primarily personal religions, with mystical doctrines and a love of contemplation. Mohammedanism and Bolshevism are practical, social, unspiritual, concerned to win the empire of this world.” [Jules Monnerot in “Sociology and Psychology of Communism” quoted by Dr. Andrew Bostom]

In his essay, Dr. Bostom quotes Monnerot to the effect that both Communism and Islam share two major characteristics, conversion and subversion. Both demand total submission and both work tirelessly, undeterred by any adversity, in order to subvert whatever culture impedes the progress of their anti-Christian goal.

Quoting from Dr. Bostom again,”Islam has provided the type of society in which the political and the sacred are indissolubly merged. The law of the Koran was religious, political, and civil all in one; and an infidel could be no more than a tributary. In history and in law he appeared as an object, but not as a participating subject; and the Ottoman Empire was interested in the children of infidels only because they could be recruited as janissaries.”

Another ex-Communist, Arthur Koestler, writing in Die Vossische Zeitung (6/7/1928), had compared the Wahhabi ascendancy in Saudi Arabia to the revolutionary triumph of Bolshevism in Russia. Koestler contended that the “omnipotent Wahhabi brotherhoods of the Ikhwan,” with “iron support of the omnipotent party” were a source of danger and fear for the neighboring Arab states—just as Bolshevism was for the capitalist countries of Europe.

Speaking of Wahhabism, Dr. John Lamont recently wrote in Rorate Caeli, about the Saudi’s backing of the militant, extremist Wahhabi sect from which ISIS originated. Dr. Lamont states, “The House of Saud has enjoyed a close alliance with the Americans since the time of Franklin D. Roosevelt, and the Saudis have bribed official Washington from top to bottom. As a result they have been able to promote their Wahhabist ideology with impunity.”

We return to Dr. Bostom’s masterful exposition of the similarities between Islam and Communism.

Bernard Lewis, the doyen of living Western Islamic scholars, in his 1954 essay “Communism and Islam,” expounded upon on the quintessence of totalitarian Islam, and how it was antithetical in nature to Western democracy, while sharing important features of Communist totalitarianism — most notably, global domination via jihad.

Quoting from Lewis, “The traditional Islamic division of the world into the House of Islam and the House of War, two necessarily opposed groups, of which the first has the collective obligation of perpetual struggle against the second, also has obvious parallels in the Communist view of world affairs.”

Bostom explains that both Bernard Lewis and Whittaker Chambers noted that Islam and Communism alike mandated a ceaseless war, an unending jihad. Indeed, in his book, Witness, Chambers affirmed, “Communism exists to wage war. Its existence implies, even in peace or truce, a state of war that engages every man, woman and child alive…”

Chambers stated the West refuses to acknowledge the crux of Communism—dialectical materialism— at its peril. “Obviously, a breed of men who hold that everything is in violent flux and change, moving by laws and in a pattern inherent in matter, and having nothing to do with God—obviously, that breed of men is different from the rest of mankind.” [We have pointed out in previous posts (here and here) the dialectical materialism of the Kasper/Bergoglio/Danneels faction.]

Next, Dr. Bostom presents this gem of a quote from Chambers, “The success of Communism…is never greater than the failure of all other faiths.” [How apt for Islam today: Islam succeeds to the extent that the Faith fails!]

Bostom quotes from Whittaker Chambers’ book, Witness, in order to  explain how American Muslims could rationalize such seditious behaviors—consistent with Islamic doctrine—and why this phenomenon remains largely incomprehensible to non-Muslim Americans, despite its existential threat to them. Speaking of American Communists:

“What went on in the minds of those Americans…that made it possible to betray their country? Did none of them suffer a crisis of conscience? The question presupposes that whoever asks it has still failed to grasp that Communists mean exactly what they have been saying for a hundred years: they regard any government that is not Communist, including their own, merely as the political machine of a class whose power they have organized expressly to overthrow by all means, including violence.

“The failure to understand that fact is part of the total failure of the West to grasp the nature of its enemy, what he wants, what he means to do and how he will go about doing it.”

Now, here is a video in which Nasim Ben Iman, who has turned from Islam who will clarify the point made above. It is brief, but informative.

When listening to the above, it struck me just how devout and determined, how thoroughly consistent, these people are. The goal of Islam has always and everywhere been the exact same: exterminate anyone who will not submit to islam. From the very beginning, their scripture has been and always will be, virulently anti-Catholic.

All the above begs the question, Why is the institutional church part of this push to force islamic people into the very midst of what is left of western culture? Why are American Bishops partnering with Obama to “resettle” these muslims in our communities and neighborhoods?

In his recent article for Rorate Caeli, Dr. John Lamont said, “Catholics naturally look to the leadership of the Church for guidance on the nature of Islam, its relation to the ideology of ISIS, and the approach that Catholics should take to the threat of ISIS terrorism and to Islam itself. Unfortunately, the episcopal leadership of the Church has not provided such guidance. If anything it has done the opposite, in Europe and North America at least; it has misled the faithful on the nature of Islam and the relationship between terrorist extremism and the main tenets of the Muslim religion. …”

Dr. Lamont here refers to a pamphlet disseminated by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) which states, the purpose of this pamphlet is to ‘help Canadian Catholics better understand their Muslim neighbours’. It is signed by Archbishop Paul-André Durocher, the Archbishop of Gatineau in Quebec, in his capacity as president of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops. Dr. Lamont explains that “Its contents give Catholics a false conception of the nature and teachings of Islam. This is done more by omitting facts than by making false statements about Muslim belief, although such falsehoods are to be found in the pamphlet.”

“However, the pamphlet does not acknowledge that Islam is the only major religion that was founded with the specific purpose of destroying and replacing Christianity, and that these denials of Christian teaching are intended to further this purpose; they are not simply expressions of theological disagreement. No other major religion contains specific denunciations of the basic Christian doctrines in its sacred texts. …This anti-Christian mission has always been central to Islam, and has been pursued in every stage of Muslim history.

“It is a central Islamic teaching that Mohammed was sinless, and hence that all his actions were perfect and serve as models for the behaviour of Muslims. But Mohammed’s actions, as portrayed in the Koran and in universally accepted hadiths, include robbing caravans, consummating his marriage to his youngest wife Aisha when she was nine years old, and massacring all the men of the Jewish tribe of the Banu Qurayza and taking the women and children as slaves. The worst crimes of contemporary Islamic terrorist organisations are presented by them as being legitimated by the example of Mohammed, and this argument is plausible if the sinlessness of Mohammed is accepted.”

Dr. Lamont concludes that, “Since the Koran contains specific denials of basic Christian teachings, logic entails that either Christian teaching is true and Islamic teaching is false, Islamic teaching is true and Christian teaching is false, or both Christian and Islamic teaching are false. Catholics cannot accept the second and third of these alternatives, so they can only argue that these denials are wrong because the Christian doctrines they attack are true.”

He then asks of the CCCB’s Islamic pamphlet, “How is it that this document can offer a careful falsification of the nature of Islam, a falsification that seems to have been designed to leave Catholics in ignorance of the threat that traditional Islam poses, and in consequence to disarm them in the face of that threat?”

“The answer to this question lies in the outlook held by Archbishop Durocher. When he was speaking at a press conference at the recent session of the Synod on the Family, he was asked if the question of giving communion to divorced and civilly remarried Catholics concerned doctrine or discipline. He replied ‘If you want doctrine, go read Denzinger’. Such a remark could only be made by someone who holds the content of Catholic doctrine, and the very notion of Catholic doctrine itself, in contempt. This neomodernist outlook  on the Catholic faith is not restricted to Archbishop Durocher; it is the dominant culture within the leadership of the Catholic Church in Canada,

” … because they do not take the doctrine of their own Church seriously, they cannot grasp that Muslims take their own religion seriously and literally, and consider themselves to be subject to its teaching. In presenting Muslim doctrine they change its content into what they consider to be an acceptable form, just as they change Catholic doctrine for the same purpose in their own religious views. The second is sympathy and attraction to Islam on account of its opposition to basic Christian doctrine. Not all of the Christian doctrines rejected by Islam are necessarily rejected by neomodernists, but the essential Muslim stance on Christian teaching – that the doctrines of the Christian faith do not have divine authority and do not need to be accepted on account of this authority – is the fundamental principle of neomodernism. The neomodernist hatred of the doctrines they reject is also stronger than their adherence to the doctrines they find acceptable for their own reasons. The Muslim position on Christian doctrine is thus a sympathetic one to neomodernists, and it predisposes them in favour of that religion.

Dr. Lamont concludes, “the CCCB document carefully conceals those aspects of Islam that pose a real danger to Catholics. This deception betrays those very numerous Christians who are now suffering and dying at the hands of Islamic persecutors, and it facilitates the further persecution of Christians by concealing the nature of the threat that they face. In doing this, neomodernism lets its mask slip for anyone with knowledge of Islam, and shows its malice and its origin.”

The point of this long article is that the prophesied “Errors of Russia” are, in essence, the errors of Islam and that both have found support among the heretical modernists – and neo-modernists – of the post-Vatican Church.

In closing, here is a quote from Whittaker Chambers by way of Dr. Bostom: Recalling a conversation he had with a Passionist priest when he was recuperating in a hospital,

“I asked: “Father, what am I to answer those people who keep writing me that I was wrong to write in ‘Witness’ that I had left the winning side for the losing side? They say by calling the West the losing side, I have implied that evil can ultimately overcome good.” Father Alan studied his hands, which were lying in his lap.

Then he glanced at me directly and asked: “Who says that the West deserves to be saved?”

There has never been a better time to  Pray the Rosary with confidence and joy!

The Wrath of the Lamb 2018

We originally posted “The Wrath of the Lamb” several years ago. As the dreary Bergoglian pontificate drags on,  we begin to wonder when we shall see this Wrath. Patience.

The Wrath of the Lamb

“And they say to the mountains and the rocks, ‘Fall upon us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth upon the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb.”

Far from being frightening, the above verse is meant to be a consolation. Indeed, the entire Apocalypse is God’s gift of consolation to Christians who are perennially in danger of being swept up in the maelstrom of the spiritual battle to destroy the Church. In a similar way, Our Blessed Mother’s  true messages, from the beginning of the Age of Apostasy have been both a Mother’s stern warning and a promise of her provision for us. Yes, she shows us hell and the dire consequences of disobedience, but she also promises us she will be our sure path to eternal life with Jesus our Lord.

Now that we have a truly hellish situation, an apostate pope and a weak and faithless hierarchy unable or unwilling to confront him or otherwise defend the faith, we look to the Apocalypse and to the Messages of Our Immaculate Mother, to seek guidance and consolation.

Do you remember Father Amorth’s warning that unless the Pope and Bishops obeyed Our Lady of Fatima and consecrated Russia in October, the Chastisement would begin in earnest? And now it is clear to see: This is what the spiritual chastisement of the Church is. It is here now. You have the Pope and the Bishops extolling the “virtues” of Martin Luther, the vulgar and despicable heresiarch. And the Pope’s representative proclaiming  marxism in the gigantic slave state of China a veritable utopia. Thus they mock Our Lord Himself, to kick Him as He falls beneath this heavy cross.

To those who are paying attention, this is a terrifying time, as we await the denouement that is looming ever larger. These times are both surpassingly sad, and frightening. We know that the arrogant misuse of the teaching authority of the Church will bring, in God’s own time, His justice. In St. John’s Apocalypse, this is referred to as the “Wrath of the Lamb”. In Father Herman Kramer’s “Book of Destiny“, of Apocalypse, Chapter 6, verses 15-17, we read:

“And the kings of the earth, and the princes, and tribunes, and the rich, and the strong, and every bondman, and every freeman, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of mountains:
And they say to the mountains and the rocks: Fall upon us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth upon the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of their wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand?”

Notice that St. John enumerates seven categories of society: kings, princes, tribunes, the rich, the strong, bondmen and freemen. In the present case, the use of the numeral seven denotes a fullness and may be applied here to the fullness of the visible hierarchy of the Church, from Pope on down. In these seven categories, what is missing? The strong and the rich are included, while the weak and the poor are not! That is because the faithful, who are cast out by the heretics who appear to control the Church, are the poor and the weak, powerless in this satanic takeover.

As the hidden message of Fatima indicated, the apostasy infects the very top all the way down. In this corrupt milieu, only the faithful are made unwelcome. And what happens to these who betray Christ and pervert His teachings?

They will hide themselves and beg the mountains and rocks to fall upon them. Anything to hide them from the face of God, and from the wrath of the Lamb of God, the very Saviour they have betrayed. Now we must ask, how shall this come to pass? For the answer, we must look to our history. This passage in Chapter 6 has often (rightly) been applied to the Arian heresy, and is even more applicable in this age of the Bergoglian Reformation.

Father Kramer reminds us that those who believe in Him need never fear Our Lord’s judgments, for these “little ones”, the faithful, belong to Him and they draw even closer to His – and their – Blessed Mother during this time of trial. In contrast to the faithful, ” the heretics and hypocrites who live an earthly life and are of the earth.” do fear His wrath.

The term, “Wrath of the Lamb” indicates a severe judgment on prelates for Eucharistic abuses. It indicates a fearsome reprisal for those who desecrate the Eucharist, not merely the laymen, but particularly the hierarchy to whom Our Lord has entrusted His Sacred Mysteries and who shamelessly betray Him.

Fr. Kramer: “The Arian bishops and priests sought the honors and income of the Catholic Church for their enjoyment and aggrandizement and accepted their appointments from the emperors.”

Put into today’s context, they sought the approval of the world even to the point of denying Christ and His teachings. This is rightly applied to the Pope and Cardinals who bask in the approval of the rulers of this world who serve the enemy of Christ, the Lord of this World.

“They denied the divinity of Christ. This implicitly denied the belief in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. The Lamb now comes upon them in judgment. Hence they fear His wrath. Before the (barbarian) invasions they spread Arianism among the barbarians. But in the turmoil of the invasions, Arianism almost disappeared. The Vandals adhered to it, but their kingdom was destroyed by the Greeks, and the nation later vanished under Saracen conquest. The Visigoths clung to it for a while but also fell under the sway of the Saracens for seven hundred years. Arianism was thus rooted out by the barbarian invasions and Mohammedanism, and the unity of Christendom was saved until the sixteenth century. (In which Luther and Henry VIII emerged to persecute the faith anew).

In the sad scenario before us today, we see that the corrupted leadership of the Church cannot save themselves, much less the faith. To understand what God may do, our guide is the true and reliable Catholic prophecy we have been given. It is quite possible that the next steps in the chastisement will be as Father Kramer describes in his commentary on Chapter 6, that is, invading hordes of Islam to sack and scourge unfaithful Rome, to cleanse the filth from the Church. If we are to believe Sister Lucia’s vision of the chastisement and Our Lady of Akita’s message, – and we should! – Then we see that this scourge will be accompanied by tremendous upheavals of nature, wiping out a great deal of mankind.

Are we then to give in to paralyzing fear? No, for we are after all, Mary’s children, and we draw closer to her in times of trial, trusting to her to abide in Christ in all things. As the chastisement overflows from the spiritual realm into the realm of this world, affecting cultures, nations, and nature, we look to her, as the eyes of a handmaid are on the hands of her mistress.

The Wrath of the Lamb is both a warning and a promise to those who heed it. As Our Lord said, they will obey, “but it will be late”. We have all heard it said that, the later the obedience, the greater the chastisement, Watch what Francis and his destroyers do, they now believe themselves invincible and this was perhaps, inevitable, for “pride goeth before destruction”, doesn’t it? As the spiritual chastisement continues, and intensifies, we will all suffer greatly, but some will suffer unto eternal glory, while some … will not… and so we pray for them, the poor lost souls of our leaders, for their sake and for the souls of so many.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of our hearts, Mother of the Church, do thou offer to the Eternal Father the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the conversion of poor sinners, especially our Pontiff.

Most Precious Blood of Jesus, save us, save our priests.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.
Joseph protect our families, protect our priests.
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Remember, pray the rosary and confound the devil!

His Humble Legacy

While doing a quick review of favorite sites, I came across an article by Anthony Wagner on  Lifesite News. It was an excellently written piece but that is not the reason for mentioning  it now.  It is because it put me in mind of a quote from a post of evensong’s,  The Mystery of Iniquity“.

“The Word of God tells us that towards the end of time the power of this world will became so irresistible and so triumphant that the Church of God will sink underneath its hand … It will be deprived of protection. It will be weakened, baffled, and prostrate, and will lie bleeding at the feet of the powers of this world.” (Cardinal Manning)

Here is an excerpt from Wagner’s article and see if it does not follow up quite nicely on Cardinal Manning’s prophecy.

“The …appearance of the seagulls, who scavenge on any filth they can find, is actually not new to St. Peter’s Square during this pontificate. In the adjoining piazza and around the colonnade, passers-by have been shocked at the degradation and squalor that emerges there at night. The seagulls descend on the headquarters of the Church and pick at rubbish bins, leaving debris strewn across the sidewalks and roads.

“The homeless are allowed to bed down under main thoroughfares and archways, on the outskirts of the colonnade and in front of the Holy See press office. Often they are drunk and disorderly, sometimes threatening passing tourists hoping to get a shot of the basilica.”

Wagner notes that Pope Francis has “created a culture of homelessness around the Vatican” and then remarks that  “Some have called the miserable scene ‘apocalyptic.’

But the money quote from this excellent article is this:

“And yet the general waste and degeneration, the screaming, scavenging birds circling over the Vatican like a dead carcass, is perhaps highly symbolic of this pontificate, one that many see leading the Church in the direction of a kind of death. And all the time that the degradation and squalor continue in the Church — both physically and morally — no one is really speaking up and coming to her rescue.”

Now readers, you know the reason no one is able to come to the rescue, for Cardinal Manning explained it well:

“If the barrier which has hindered the development of the principle of antichristian disorder has been the Divine power of Jesus Christ our Lord, incorporated in the Church and guided by his Vicar, then no hand is mighty enough, and no will is sovereign enough to take it out of the way, but only the hand and the will of the incarnate Son of God Himself.”

Now, the Son of God Who removed the barrier to the Ancient Enemy is  also the only One with power to drive out the Enemy. And He  has informed us clearly that  this task has been given to the Immaculata, Our Lady of the Rosary at Fatima.

This Saturday is the Feast of the Epiphany – the Manifestation of our Savior, Christ the King and is, as well, the very first First Saturday of Reparation of this new year. Please consider doing what you can to make it the very best day of reparation you can offer to Our Lord Jesus Christ through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Obey Our Lady! So much depends on it.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of our hearts, Mother of the Church, do thou offer to the Eternal Father the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the conversion of poor sinners, especially our Pontiff.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thy kingdom come! Viva Cristo Rey!
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death.
St. Joseph, protect us, protect our families, protect our priests.
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.

Vouchsafe that I may praise thee, O Sacred Virgin! Give me strength against thine enemies!

It is most important  to understand that the devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, to Christ the King, and to the Immaculate Heart of Mary are all of a piece, as it were, and in no way are separate, disparate, or contradictory. And these are inseparable as well from the Mass and particularly, the Holy Eucharist.  Furthermore, it is essential to grasp that the requests, demands really, of the most Sacred Heart of Jesus, as relayed by St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in 1689, still stand today, more than three centuries after they were made known. Once God has uttered a request, it does not cease to be simply because centuries pass while Catholics turn an indifferent ear to them.

What I had hoped to do in the earlier post was demonstrate the reason Christ Our Lord made His request of the King of France. It was because of the importance of the French Monarchy, as a worldly force established by the will of God for the glory and protection of Christ’s Church. I refer readers to the writings of Solange Hertz as previously cited.

St. Pius X tells us in Vehementer, “The Creator of mankind is also the Founder of human societies, and He preserves them just as He maintains individuals in existence.”  God sent Joan of Arc to make this clear. Her mission was precisely to establish the fact that France was a nation constituted by God under a king who was Jesus Christ’s designated lieutenant. Thus, we see that God first sent St. Joan to aid France, then sent St. Margaret Mary with a message from His Sacred Heart. The engineer of destruction for the latter message was the deceitful Jesuit superior who refused to comply. I will not expand on this now, but it is documented by Hertz in Utopia Nowhere.

At the risk of oversimplifying, I will just state that if Pope Pius XI had only obeyed the commands of the Immaculate Mother of God at Fatima, instead of separating that requested devotion from devotion to the Sacred Heart and Christ the King, he would have been able to fulfill both the demands of the Immaculate Heart and the demands of her Son. Instead of the ever-expanding reign of the evils of satanic marxism, we could have had the glorious reign of Christ the King, through the Immaculata, as Our Lord Himself had so desired.

And what are we to think of France?  The Kingdom of France, established by King Clovis was consecrated by him to  Christ’s Kingship forever by constitutional law. The document’s preamble begins with, “The illustrious Nation of the Franks, having God for Founder,” and closes by praying that, “the Lord Jesus Christ direct those who govern in the way of piety.”  When France’s king failed to submit to the request of its true ruler, Christ the King, it fell to apostasy. Of this, Pope St. Pius X prophesied: “she who had made an alliance with God,” would one day repent and “bear My Name before all peoples and all the kings of the earth.” God’s gifts being without repentance, we may believe that the return to natural law will begin with the conversion of regicide France. My Brother’s Keeper

“Fear them not. For nothing is covered that shall not be revealed: nor hid, that shall not be known.”

Our natural inclination is to turn away from what is especially degrading. we want to cover our revered leaders when they appear before the world in shameful, naked disarray, protect them from the scorn of the hateful world.  And so Catholics have attempted, with little success to shore up the ruins as our “Holy Fathers” have continued to shelter and even promote the most pernicious evils within the bosom of the Church. The result has been disastrous, of that there can be no doubt and the evil within has grown in the shadows and now is bursting forth, as was inevitable.

In previous posts we have discussed the latest scandal at the Vatican, and suggested reference to St. Catherine of Siena. Today, we will close with considering the foregoing in light of the prophecies of Pope Leo XIII and Cardinal Manning.

The fact that Msgr. Capozzi partied in regal splendor in the same apartment that Cardinal Ratzinger lived in when he was head of the Congregation for the  Doctrine of the Faith, and drove a luxury car with the very prized Vatican plates, making him immune from police searches proves that he was highly regarded by powerful Vatican personages.  Without that indulgent support of a Prince of the Church, Capozzi could not have had his orgies, or the flat, or the luxury car he used for drug smuggling.  Thus, whether or not Pope Francis admits it, this scandal is laid at his humble feet. It would be a serious mistake to disregard the importance of this episode.

Edward Pentin has revealed that:

a reliable senior member of the curia has told the Register that he has heard from “multiple sources” that the story is true, including from another senior curial figure. He said the extent of homosexual practice in the Vatican has “never been worse,” despite efforts begun by Benedict XVI to root out sexual deviancy from the curia after the Vatileaks scandal of 2012.

“The precise details of the reported events in the CDF therefore remain open to question, but the substance of the story appears to be true. If so, many would find such behavior taking place in the Holy Office not only unconscionable but also highly sacrilegious.

And so, we see that under Pope Francis, homosexual activity in the Vatican “has never been worse” and that even to seasoned observers of the tragic auto-demolition of the faith, this latest sordid event is deemed sacrilegious. Yet most Catholic media either downplay the event or ignore it entirely. You see in so much of the coverage the unsubstantiated claim that “Pope Francis is furious!” Note that Bergoglio’s purported “fury” does not clarify whether Pope Francis is furious that homosexual prelates are dragging the Vatican into the gutters or whether he is furious because this sordid episode came to light. But since Bergoglio has chosen to live in the Guest House of his intimate friend Msgr. Ricca, and even to promote him to Prelate of the Vatican Bank, one must suspect it is the latter cause which perturbs his serenity.

So what are we to glean from all this?
