The Seven Trumpets 2018

As we promised, we continue with our re-postings on the Message of Fatima in the light of Sacred Scripture and Catholic Prophecy. From June 2015:

Seven Trumpets

Prior to Fatima, Our Lady appeared at Quito, La Salette, Knock and (after Fatima) at Akita, all of which had a common thread of dire warning. Even though the apparition at Knock was silent, its prophetic relevance is clear from our perspective after 50 years of modernist “renewal”. Let’s start with Pope Paul’s Trumpets: In an interview with the Italian newspaper Avvenire, French writer Jean Guitton, a close friend of Pope Paul VI, recalled this interesting bit of history,

“It was the final session of the Council, the most essential in which the Pope was to bestow upon all humanity the teachings of the Council. He announced this to me with these words, ‘I am about to blow the Seven Trumpets of the Apocalypse.’ “ (Interview, 11 October, 1992, cited in the excellent book, Animus Delendi – I, by Atila Sinke Guimaraes).

Now, the source of this quote, Avvenire,  is the newspaper of the Italian Episcopal Conference, so it is fairly safe to assume the integrity of the information. Although Guitton seemed to think little of the remark, later mentioning that the Apocalypse speaks of the triumph of the Church, that is not exactly what is referred to in the passage cited by Pope Paul VI. The Angels and Trumpets are introduced in Chapter 8, “And I saw seven angels standing in the presence of God; and there were given to them seven trumpets.”  The Angels  and Trumpets and the events they usher in are  severe chastisements, foretelling in symbolic language widespread heresy, apostasy, violent wars and persecutions, and earthquakes.

Later, 29 June, 1972 on the occasion of the Ninth Anniversary of his election, Paul Paul lamented,

“We believed that after the [Second Vatican] Council would come a day of sunshine in the history of the Church. But instead there has come a day of clouds and storms, and of darkness …  “And how did this come about? We will confide to you the thought that maybe we ourselves admit in free discussion, that may be unfounded, and that is that there has been a power, an adversary power. Let us call him by his name: the Devil. … It is as if from some mysterious crack, no, it is not mysterious, from some crack the smoke of Satan has entered the Temple of God.”

Pope Paul’s quote comes from the Apocalypse, Chapter 9, verses 1-2:

Christ the King, 2017

Today, the last Sunday of October, we honor Our Lord Jesus Christ, King.

During His Passion, Pilate asked Our Lord Jesus Christ, “Art Thou the King of the Jews?” As St. John relates,

Jesus answered: ‘My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would certainly strive that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now My kingdom is not from hence.’ Pilate therefore said to Him: Art Thou a king then? Jesus answered: ‘Thou sayest that I am a king. For this was I born, and for this came I into the world; that I should give testimony to the truth. Every one that is of the truth, heareth My voice.’

Pilate saith to Him: ‘What is truth?’ And when he said this, he went out again to the Jews…” (John 18, 33-38)

‘Thou sayest that I am a king. For this was I born, and for this came I into the world; that I should give testimony to the truth. Every one that is of the truth, heareth My voice.’

Notice that Pilate, after asking Jesus, “What is truth?” walked away without attending to His answer. Isn’t that typical of the posturing of the leaders of this world! Here is Jesus telling us that everyone who is of the truth hears His voice and Pilate proves that he is not of the truth by ignoring Christ the King’s voice.

Picture if you will, our King as He must have looked when He said these words, not in front of a cheering crowd, but instead, a jeering mob crying for His crucifixion and death. Not wearing splendid garments but clothed in His bloodied and dirtied robe; not crowned with gold and jewels but with hateful thorns. Thus His appearance affirms His message, that is, that His Kingdom is not of this world. There is enmity between His Kingdom and the false kingdoms of this world. It is a kingdom so sublime that nothing this world can do can impinge upon it, and it will have no end.

By affirming that “My kingdom is not of this world”, Our Lord was teaching that contrary to worldly kings who maintain  their transient rule by force of arms, by worldly power, His kingdom is absolute, it exists beyond time and will never end. His rule in encoded in our hearts, minds, in our wills and we ignore it at the peril of our souls.  There is no escaping it, and whether we accept it, shrug it off with indifference or combat it actively, we nevertheless serve it. Until He comes in glory, we must, in obedience to our thorn-crowned King, serve Him and proclaim His sovereignty in truth and love in all we do.

Today, more than ever, we proclaim His Reign. The leaders of the Church and the leaders of this world may turn away from this thorn-crowned King, but we know that He will triumph and they and all their useless pomp and foolishness will be gone in the blink of an eye. Never before have our prayers been given such efficacy; despite what the Bishop of Rome may say, we recite our prayers, be they litanies, rosaries, the Angelus, the Divine Office or the Little Office. Even when our prayers are forced through an act of the will from a heart burdened with the sorrows and disappointments of these bleak times; yes, especially when we least feel inclined to pray! Our Lord told Sister Josefa Menedez that that was when her prayers were most effective in saving poor sinners! (The Way of Divine Love, TAN Publishing).

To say that His kingdom “is not of this world”, is not however, to relegate it, as so often today, to a purely personal opinion, best kept to oneself. In fact, just as faith is shown in our works, the spiritual basis for the Kingdom of Christ must evidence itself in a Christian culture. Only thus can peace, justice and unity prevail. Pope Pius XI instituted the Feast of Christ the King in his encyclical Quas Primas of December 11, 1925; pity that since this encyclical was prior to the  Second Vatican Council, our Holy Father is indifferent to it. In it, Pius XI states:

“Men must look for the peace of Christ in the Kingdom of Christ. … In the Kingdom of Christ, that is, it seemed to Us that peace could not be more effectually restored nor fixed upon a firmer basis than through the restoration of the Empire of Our Lord. We were led in the meantime to indulge the hope of a brighter future at the sight of a more widespread and keener interest  evinced in Christ and His Church, the one Source of Salvation, a sign that men who had formerly spurned the rule of our Redeemer and had exiled themselves from His kingdom were preparing, and even hastening, to return to the duty of obedience.

Here, we see Pope Pius XI clearly affirming the need for people and nations to return to the Church established by Christ, the one true means of salvation, in obedience. Further,

“It would be a grave error, on the other hand, to say that Christ has no authority whatever in civil affairs, since, by virtue of the absolute empire over all creatures committed to Him by the Father, all things are in His power.   …

“If, therefore, the rulers of nations wish to preserve their authority, to promote and increase the prosperity of their countries, they will not neglect the public duty of reverence and obedience to the rule of Christ.”

Contrast that with the words and actions of Pope Francis who is busily asserting the equivalence of the true faith with the false faiths of Lutheranism and Anglicanism. In our previous post, Bergoglio’s Reformation, we spoke of his profuse praise for the heresiarch Martin Luther; and then there is this:

On October 5, Pope Francis joined with the Anglican “Archbishop” of Canterbury,  Justin Welby to sign a common declaration and send out on “a mission”, 19 pairs of Anglican and Catholic Bishops. The declaration affirmed that their witness rests upon, “the confidence that we share a common faith and a substantial measure of agreement in faith.”

“The world must see us witnessing to this common faith in Jesus by acting together. We can, and must, work together to protect and preserve our common home: living, teaching and acting in ways that favour a speedy end to the environmental destruction that offends the Creator and degrades his creatures, and building individual and collective patterns of behaviour that foster a sustainable and integral development for the good of all. We can, and must, be united in a common cause to uphold and defend the dignity of all people. The human person is demeaned by personal and societal sin.”

And so we see that Pope Francis, instead of proclaiming the truth of Christ the King, is promoting the one world religion of the cult of man in place of that which is established by our Lord Jesus Christ.  We search this abominable declaration in vain for any assertion of the primacy of the rule of our Divine Savior.

Instead of stating clearly the essential truth that sin offends God and that a sinful society estranges itself from the only source of peace and unity, which is God, we see inanities such as “the human person is demeaned by personal and societal sin”.

It is unfortunate that Pope Francis and his supporters, the St. Gallen/Danneels/Kasper faction are working so single-mindedly while the forces of tradition often struggle in disunity. It becomes ever clearer that only divine intervention will restore the Church and that may come about fairly soon.

But for now, we face these latest insults to Our Lord with the knowledge that we are called with Him to humility and obedience, not to the Lord of the world and those who serve him, even though they be proclaimed as leaders of the Church, but to the true head of the Church, our thorn-crowned King.

Here is a favorite prayer to Christ the King from Sister Carmela of the Holy Spirit, O.C.D.

Prayer to Jesus Christ the King

O Divine King, most amiable Jesus, my Redeemer, my Savior, my Spouse, my Master and my Model, I renew today the total consecration of my being to You, begging You to take absolute dominion over me. Be my Sovereign, my Ruler, my Guide. Direct and govern me entirely, so that everything may turn to Your greater glory. Be King of my memory, my intellect, my will, my emotions. I wish all to be completely subject to You and I invite You to reign in me.

Yours is a kingdom of truth, of love, of justice and of peace.

Grant that Your reign of Truth may be established in my mind, destroying all error, deceit and illusion. Enlighten me by Your divine wisdom.

Grant that Your reign of Love may be completely established in my will, to move it, draw it, and direct it always, so that I may no longer be moved by self-love or by creatures but by Your Holy Spirit alone. Make this weak, mean, rebellious will of mine strong, generous, constant. Make it grow stronger by the persevering exercise of virtue and by the gifts of Your Holy Spirit.

Grant that Your reign of Justice may be established in all my actions, so that all that I do may be a work of holiness accomplished with purity of intention and with the greatest fidelity in order to please You and accomplish Your holy will.

Grant that Your reign of Peace may be established not only in my soul, but also in my sensibility, so that, in harmony with the superior part of my soul it may give You glory and neither retard me nor be an obstacle to union with You. Amen.

In this time of the Passion of the Church,

Please, pray the Rosary to confound satan and all who serve him.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of our hearts, Mother of the Church, do thou offer to the Eternal Father the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the conversion of poor sinners, especially our Pontiff.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thy Kingdom come! Viva Cristo Rey!
St. Joseph, guardian of the Holy Family, protect our families.
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.

Vouchsafe that I may praise thee, O Sacred Virgin Give me strength against thine enemies!

Locusts, smoke and Cocopalmerio, oh my!

Today, we’ll follow up on some loose ends from our last post,  explaining them in the light of current trends in the Bergoglian Vatican.

From Chapter 9, The Apocalypse, verses 1-5, we read:

“And the fifth angel sounded the trumpet, and I saw a star fall from heaven upon the earth, and there was given to him the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit: and the smoke of the pit arose, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke of the pit. And from the smoke of the pit there came out locusts upon the earth. And power was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have power: And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree: but only the men who have not the sign of God on their foreheads. And it was given unto them that they should not kill them; but that they should torment them five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion when he striketh a man.”

As we stated previously, Paul VI was the Fallen Star to whom the key to hell had been given. The Fallen Star was given a key, with which he opened the bottomless pit. The smoke of the pit arose, darkening the sun, and out of the smoke came locusts. The darkness of the sun is a spiritual disorientation, thus, another reference to the conciliar church. The locusts could not harm any green thing, but only harm “men who have not the sign of God on their foreheads”.  The reference to not harming “any green thing” refers to being unable to harm those with living faith, that is, truly faithful Catholics. The scripture reference to five months indicates that these locusts will only hold power for a limited time. We believe that the five months indicates the roughly 50 years of the infestation of the Church by the spiritual, moral, and financial corruption of Popes John, Paul and their successors, culminating in this current occupant, the Pope of Affliction.

Although John XXIII during his brief reign, did much to set the stage for the current mess in the Vatican, it was Paul VI who really got the homosexual and satanic powers established. On his watch, several transforming trends raced through the church, contributing to the current disaster. We all know the role Paul VI had in corrupting the Mass and the sacraments, abolishing the Oath Against Modernism and so on. But Paul achieved so much more for his Master!

Lamentabili Sane 1907-2017

[Updated at 9:45 am July 3, 2017]

Today, on the 110th anniversary of  its issuance we offer “Lamentabili Sane”, Pope Pius X’s Syllabus Against Modernism.  It was his  brave, if unsuccessful, effort to stem the tide of heresy that eventually overwhelmed the Church in the twentieth century.

It is good to refresh our knowledge of these condemned errors, since they are the foundation for the irreversible changes being foisted upon us by the Bergoglio/Kasper agenda.

As a preface to Lamentabili Sane,we offer a little quote from Pope St. Pius X’s “Notre Charge Apostolique” in which he condemns the Sillon, a precursor of the “social justice” being preached today in place of the Gospel.

“Our Apostolic Mandate requires from Us that We watch over the purity of the Faith and the integrity of Catholic discipline. It requires from Us that We protect the faithful from evil and error; especially so when evil and error are presented in dynamic language which, concealing vague notions and ambiguous expressions with emotional and high-sounding words, is likely to set ablaze the hearts of men in pursuit of ideals which, whilst attractive, are nonetheless nefarious. Such were not so long ago the doctrines of the so-called philosophers of the 18th century, the doctrines of the Revolution and Liberalism which have been so often condemned; such are even today the theories of the Sillon which, under the glowing appearance of generosity, are all too often wanting in clarity, logic and truth.”

And now for Pope St. Pius X’s beautiful and clear condemnation of the errors of our time, which he proclaimed one hundred and ten years ago and which is even more relevant today:

The purpose of this is, then, not that dogma may be tailored according to what seems better and more suited to the culture of each age; rather, that the absolute and immutable truth preached by the apostles from the beginning may never be believed to be different, may never be understood in any other way.

LAMENTABILI SANE

Pius X July 3, 1907

With truly lamentable results, our age, casting aside all restraint in its search for the ultimate causes of things, frequently pursues novelties so ardently that it rejects the legacy of the human race. Thus it falls into very serious errors, which are even more serious when they concern sacred authority, the interpretation of Sacred Scripture, and the principal mysteries of Faith. The fact that many Catholic writers also go beyond the limits determined by the Fathers and the Church herself is extremely regrettable. In the name of higher knowledge and historical research (they say), they are looking for that progress of dogmas which is, in reality, nothing but the corruption of dogmas.

These errors are being daily spread among the faithful. Lest they captivate the faithful’s minds and corrupt the purity of their faith, His Holiness, Pius X, by Divine Providence, Pope, has decided that the chief errors should be noted and condemned by the Office of this Holy Roman and Universal Inquisition.

Therefore, after a very diligent investigation and consultation with the Reverend Consultors, the Most Eminent and Reverend Lord Cardinals, the General Inquisitors in matters of faith and morals have judged the following propositions to be condemned and proscribed. In fact, by this general decree, they are condemned and proscribed.

The Truth of the Lord Endures Forever

As a result of the canonization of Francisco and Jacinta, the little saints of Fatima, we are seeing a beautiful torrent of graces from heaven. Years ago, when he was asked why no pope has Consecrated Russia, Father Malachi Martin said that it was because grace was not given to them, essentially because not enough faithful have obeyed Our Lady’s request for rosaries and reparation, especially the First Saturdays.  But we have been working, all of us who heed the true message of Fatima, and consequently, we have had the Church’s Canonization of the youngest Fatima saints. Our Lady had already “canonized” them, in her promise that she would take them to heaven soon; but when the pope gave the Church’s approval, I believe that heaven smiled on us all and has shown us mercy in Cardinal Burke’s effort towards fulfilling Our Lady’s request.

Please, more than ever, offer your fasting, penances and rosaries – and Eucharistic adoration if possible! For the success of the very brave initiative of Cardinal Burke and the wonderful Catholics of Voice of the Family.  I will not reprint it all here when it is so well done at Lifesite News, but please follow these links  if you have not already:

Cardinal Burke Calls for Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

We are witnessing St. John Paul II’s prophesy of an ‘anti-Church’: Catholic priest

Dear readers, you have endured so many of my posts, bemoaning the tragic state of the hierarchy today, and now, at last, we have begun to see some really hopeful actions! But if we do not support them with our renewed prayers and sacrifices, how will they sustain this brave effort?

Just a few days ago, this pope canonized Saint Francisco Marto  and Saint Jacinta Marto of Fatima. He was unable to do it however, without perverting the message of Fatima and even taking a slap at Our Lady afterwards.   But in response to this canonization, Heaven has showered graces and we are now blessed with a true miracle, which I believe has come from Jacinta and Francisco themselves. These humble little saints never missed an opportunity to make reparation for sinners, to beg for their conversion and to pray for the Pope.

And now, Cardinal Burke and those who support him,  at last are calling for the Pope to obey Our Lady of Fatima – to Consecrate Russia, to promote the First Saturdays of Reparation, to promote the Brown Scapular. This is the miracle of grace we have been praying and offering penance for. Please support this brave initiative with all your hearts and do not fail to thank God and our newest saints of Fatima – Jacinta and Francisco! – for this generous blessing.

What about the other Bishops?

Will they stand idly by? Who is brave enough to stand with Cardinal Burke? After years of failing to defend the faith and failing Our Lady of Fatima as well,  will they now heed the call from Our Lady of Fatima? We must pray for these Bishops and pray for our priests!

If you have not already, please read Father Clovis’s remarks at the Rome Life Forum, he is saying quite unmistakably the truth about the anti-church. Readers, this is a crucial turning point, we must not fail now, because if we do, there will be only darkness hereafter as Bergoglio and his wrecking crew finish their seeming demolition.  Any Bishop who does not stand with Cardinal Burke is not just failing the faithful, he is failing the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Wouldn’t it be a splendid thing if this pope repented! We must pray! And we must back up our prayers with obedient and generous sacrifices! Pray to Sts. Jacinta  and Francisco for help with this, believe me, it really does work!

Now is the time for us to renew our prayers, our acts of reparation with a gratitude we may not have felt earlier!

We close with a couple of Psalms from Prime ifrom the  Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Psalm 53

Save me, O God, by Thy name, and judge me in Thy strength.  O God, hear my prayer: harken to the words of my mouth.  For strangers have risen up against me; and the mighty have sought after my soul: and they have not set God before their eyes.

For behold God is my helper: and the Lord is the protector of my soul. Turn back the evil upon my enemies; and destroy them in Thy truth.  Freely will I  sacrifice to thee, and will give praise, O God, to Thy name: because it is good: For Thou hast delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath looked down upon my enemies.

Psalm 84

Thou hast blessed Thy land, O Lord, Thou hast turned away the captivity of Jacob. Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of Thy people. Thou hast covered all their sins. Thou hast softened all Thine anger; Thou hast turned Thyself from Thy wrathful indignation. Convert Thou us, O God our Savior and turn away Thine anger from us. Wilt Thou be angry with us forever, or wilt Thou stretch out Thy wrath from generation to generation?

Thou wilt turn again, O God and quicken us and Thy people shall rejoice in Thee. Show us O Lord, Thy mercy and grant us Thy salvation. I will harken what the Lord God shall say within me for He will speak peace unto His people; unto His saints and unto them that are converted in heart.

Surely His salvation is nigh unto them that fear him, that glory may dwell in our land. mercy and truth have met; justice and peace have kissed. Truth is sprung from the earth and justice hath looked down from heaven. For the Lord shall put forth His goodness and our land shall yield her fruit. Justice shall walk before him and shall set his footsteps in the way.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of our hearts, Mother of the Church, do thou offer to the Eternal Father the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the conversion of poor sinners, especially our Pontiff.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thy Kingdom come, Viva Cristo Rey!

St. Joseph, guardian of the Holy Family, protect our families, protect our priests!

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.

St. Francisco of Fatima, pray for us! pray for the Church!

St. Jacinta of Fatima, pray for us! pray for the Pope!

The Wrath of the Lamb II

The term, “Wrath of the Lamb” indicates a severe judgment on prelates for Eucharistic abuses. It indicates a fearsome reprisal for those who desecrate the Eucharist, not merely the laymen, but particularly the hierarchy to whom Our Lord has entrusted His Sacred Mysteries and who shamelessly betray Him.

All three installments of “With Burning Concern: We Accuse Pope Francis” are online at Catholic Family News. It’s a very skillfully compiled summary of the most serious errors being pushed by the Bergoglian Reformation against the Church. It’s a tragic sign of the darkness of these days that there has not been one single prelate to speak out as clearly and bravely as Michael Matt, Chris Ferrara and John Vennari, and we pray that their message will reach all of the faithful throughout the world. Please download all three parts and help spread them.

Since I am unfortunately unable to post at present, I offer an earlier post which addresses the alarming heterodoxy flourishing in this Bergoglian Reformation:

The Wrath of the Lamb

“And they say to the mountains and the rocks, ‘Fall upon us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth upon the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb.”

Far from being frightening, the above verse is meant to be a consolation. Indeed, the entire Apocalypse is God’s gift of consolation to Christians who are perennially in danger of being swept up in the maelstrom of the spiritual battle to destroy the Church.

Like the Apocalypse, all Our Lady’s appearances since  Luther began the Age of Apostasy are consistent; they warn against offending God, and promise His true, unfailing mercy to His faithful children. Now that we have a truly hellish situation, an apostate pope and a weak and faithless hierarchy unable or unwilling to confront him or otherwise defend the faith, we look to the Apocalypse and to the Messages of Our Immaculate Mother, to seek guidance and consolation.

Do you remember Father Amorth’s warning that unless the Pope and Bishops obeyed Our Lady of Fatima and consecrated Russia in October, the Chastisement would begin in earnest? I cannot say it more clearly than this: This is what the spiritual chastisement of the Church is. It is here now. You have the Pope and the Bishops extolling the “virtues” of Martin Luther, the vulgar and despicable heresiarch. For the Pope to laud Luther is to mock Our Lord Himself, to kick Him as He falls beneath this heavy cross.

To those who are paying attention, this is a terrifying time, as we await the denouement that is looming ever larger. These times are both surpassingly sad, and frightening. We know that the arrogant misuse of the teaching authority of the Church will bring, in God’s own time, His justice. In St. John’s Apocalypse, this is referred to as the “Wrath of the Lamb”. In Father Herman Kramer’s “Book of Destiny“, of Apocalypse, Chapter 6, verses 15-17, we read:

The Magisterium of Francis

Sandro Magister has a good post on what our humble Bishop of Rome has next on his agenda of surprises: A married priesthood! Magister had written of this right after the last Synod:

See: The Next Synod Is Already in the Works. On Married Priests

And: Married Priests. The Germany-Brazil Axis

“Not Enough Celibate Priests? Make Way For Married Priests“.

“This is the remedy being considered by Cardinal Hummes and Pope Francis for regions with a scarcity of clergy, starting with the Amazon. … Pope Francis received in audience a few days ago the Brazilian cardinal Cláudio Hummes, accompanied by the archbishop of Natal, Jaime Vieira Rocha.

Hummes, 82, former archbishop of São Paulo and prefect of the Vatican congregation for the clergy, is today the president both of the commission for the Amazon of the episcopal conference of Brazil and of the Pan-Amazonian Network that joins together 25 cardinals and bishops of the surrounding countryside, in addition to indigenous representatives of different local ethnicities.

A Complaint Against Francis

By the grace of God and the law of Church, a complaint against Francis, Roman Pontiff, on account of danger to the Faith and grave harm to souls and the common good of the Holy Catholic Church.

“they shall be ‘like sharp arrows in the hand of the powerful’ Mary to pierce her enemies.”That they may extinguish the fire in the House of God.”

Today, Michael Matt, Christopher Ferrara and John Vennari have made Church history. They have done what no member of the episcopacy was willing to do. They have taken action to speak the truth boldly, to defend the doctrine of the faith from the man who calls himself the Bishop of Rome and currently occupies the See of Peter.

John Vennari, Michael Matt and Christopher Ferrara are not the brave and faithful prelates we have been praying for, but they are the brave and faithful laymen we have been given. And they are doing what no Bishop, Archbishop or Cardinal will do, they are defending the faith against Pope Francis.

The following post is taken verbatim from Mr. John Vennari’s Catholic Family News.  We have not edited it in any way. We hope that you will read it prayerfully, forward to others, and most importantly pray for all concerned and if at all possible have Masses offered for these men and for the Pope and hierarchy.

Lamentabili Sane

In honor of St. Pius X, our last saintly Pope, on his feast day, we offer his Syllabus Against Modernism, a firm guide for us as we continue to observe the unravelling of the doctrine and practice of the faith.

The final Synod Against the Family and the Eucharist is past, and Pope Francis continues his demolition derby against the dogma and practice of the faith.  A good remedy for these errors is to refresh our knowledge of the immutable truths of the Faith as once proclaimed by saints, especially our holy Popes of years gone by. From our treasury of Encyclicals, we offer St. Pius X’s brave, if unsuccessful, effort to stem the tide of heresy that eventually overwhelmed the Church in the twentieth century.

As we read this classic of the faith, we cannot help but note that the errors condemned here are the very foundation for the irreversible changes being foisted upon us by the self-named St. Gallen Mafia, the Bergoglio/Kasper agenda, especially those in Amoris Laetitia.

Pope St. Pius X

As a preface to Lamentabili Sane, we offer a brief quote from Pope St. Pius X’s “Notre Charge Apostolique” in which he condemns the Sillon, a precursor of the “social justice” preached by Pope Francis in place of the Gospel.

“Our Apostolic Mandate requires from Us that We watch over the purity of the Faith and the integrity of Catholic discipline. And now for Pope St. Pius X’s beautiful and clear condemnation of the errors of modernism, which he proclaimed over a century ago and which is even more relevant today: Lamentabili Sane: (emphasis ours)

LAMENTABILI SANE

Who really wrote Amoris Laetitia?

May 25, 2016

Who really wrote Amoris Laetitia?

Sandro Magister offers a very astute guess.

In his latest article on Chiesa, see here, he writes:

“Amoris Laetitia” Has a Ghostwriter. His Name Is Víctor Manuel Fernández
Startling resemblances between the key passages of the exhortation by Pope Francis and two texts from ten years ago by his main adviser. A double synod for a solution that had already been written.”

See link above for complete article. The following are excerpts with my comments in red.

Magister notes that the key passages in Amoris Laetitia, the ones which are most intentionally ambiguous, that is, the paragraphs of chapter eight that give the go-ahead for communion for the divorced and remarried have an Argentine prehistory, based as they are on a pair of articles from 2005 and 2006 by Víctor Manuel Fernández, already back then and even more today a thinker of reference for Pope Francis and the ghostwriter of his major texts.

“Heal me with your mouth.”

“During those years Fernández was professor of theology at the Universidad Católica Argentina in Buenos Aires.

“And at that same university in 2004 an international theological conference was held on “Veritatis Splendor,” the encyclical of John Paul II on “certain fundamental truths of Catholic doctrine,” decisively critical of “situational” ethics, the permissive tendency already present among the Jesuits in the 17th century and today more widespread than ever in the Church.

Magister emphasises that ‘Veritatis Splendor’  is not a minor encyclical.
