Fatima, Francis and the Errors of Russia

In Sister Lucia’s last interview, she spoke with Father Fuentes on December 26, 1957 and warned,

“Tell them, Father, that many times the Most Holy Virgin told my cousins Francisco and Jacinta, as well as myself, that many nations will disappear from the face of the earth. She said that Russia will be the instrument of chastisement chosen by Heaven to punish the whole world if we do not beforehand obtain the conversion of that poor nation.

Obviously, due to the gross neglect of their duties by the Pope and Prelates of the Faith, the Blessed Virgin’s requests were not heeded and the errors of Russia have so thoroughly corrupted our Church and society that we have a “Holy Father” who serenely accepts as gifts:

Sanctifying the international drug trade.
Sanctifying the international drug trade.

A chuspa, a bag for coca leaves hung around the neck for ready access to the coca: symbol of the international drug trade thus “sanctified” by our holy and humble pope.

For in those days, Jesus Christ will send them not a true pastor, but a destroyer.
For in those days, Jesus Christ will send them not a true pastor, but a destroyer.

A so-called crucifix fashioned out of a wooden hammer and sickle: the blasphemous emblem of the marxist triumph over Jesus Christ and His Church. Icon of the total triumph of the errors of Russia, even at the top of the Church.

The press may refer to the monstrosity as a crucifix, but that does not make it so. A crucifix is the exalted and glorious sign of our Lord Jesus Christ’s infinite love for us, the redemption He gained for us,  the triumph of salvation, and not, nor never can it be, in any way supplanted or superceded by satanic marxism, the scourge of Christianity which should have been utterly rejected by the Vicar of Christ.

You would think that Pope Francis could simply look over the devastation to the faith wrought by so-called Liberation Theology throughout Latin America and reject its disgusting evil, but you would be wrong. The media rushed to spin the incriminating pictures and video, their headlines proclaiming, “Pope rebukes Bolivia’s President Evo Morales for gift”, “Pope Francis chides hammer-and-sickle crucifix given by Evo Morales, Pope returns wooden crucifix gift” etc. But then the Vatican and eventually the Pope himself explained that he valued the “gift” and kept it. Of course he did!

The most pathetic thing, however was the pseudo-Catholic commentators, the protestants posing as Catholics who have become comfortably ensconced within the Church, there to attack true Catholics all the more effectively from their bully pulpits. Here is the ever-jolly Shea’s take on the debacle, leaving out his vulgar language. After remarking obscenely on the Pope’s expression in the video detailing the giving of the “gift”,

“But it’s not very hard to see that this cringeworthy attempt by a Commie to suck up to the Church is… well… cringeworthy. His remark on this piece of kitsch was “That’s not right” …: But, of course, that’s not good enough for the Reactionaries at Pewsitter and similar sites, who are freaking out about “FrancisChurch” and “Commie Jesus” and similar rubbish. Me: I think the image of Francis looking in bafflement at that … thing is just hilarious and makes me wonder how many other winceable art projects, knicknack, tschotschkes, and trinkets the pope has to hand off to some luckless functionary every day–and where it all goes.”

As always, Shea is wrong on every count. He is, at least, as consistent as he is tasteless. The Vatican explained that Pope Francis said,”No sabía eso”, that is, “I didn’t know”.  This was later confirmed by Pope Francis himself. But the most pathetic error of Shea’s was his laughing dismissal of the monstrous blasphemy as a mere piece of “kitsch”, or “tschotschke”. How on earth can anyone in a position such as his be so utterly ignorant of the millions and millions of souls lost, and still being lost, due to communism? And that is just a trinket? Really?

But it was not just Shea and his ilk, Catholic World News actually reported that Pope Francis “rebuked” Morales, a complete fabrication.  The Catholic News Agency spun the story, “Pope Francis apparently not amused by ‘communist crucifix’. ” Then followed the explanation by all the usual spinmeisters, “Oh, now we understand, the “crucifix” was designed by the holy Jesuit priest Jose Espinal.” This from EWTN News: “Fr. Espinal – whose “communist crucifix” was the model for Morales’ gift to the Pope – was a journalist who advocated for human rights and democracy, (sic) continues to be a source of controversy in Bolivia.”… “Some regard Fr. Espinal as a martyr (!) who lived the Gospel with the same spirit as Blessed Oscar Romero – who was martyred by right wing Salvadorans two days after Fr. Espinal’s death – while others claim the priest was a communist and became too involved in politics.”

This was the signal for all the talking heads to bobble in unison, with deepest reverence, “Oh, I see, he was a martyred priest”. Cue the violins, swooning in pious compassion. The fact: Espinal was an anti-Catholic, marxist revolutionary who dedicated his life to undermining Catholic society and destroying the Church of Jesus Christ.

The sacred image of our Lord Jesus Christ, being crucified on the symbol of Marxist revolution is not a mere trinket. That it is valued by the current occupant of the See of Peter is a vivid proof  that the message of Fatima is being fulfilled in our midst. Russia will be  – is – the instrument of chastisement chosen by Heaven to punish the whole world. The fact that this Bishop of Rome esteems the blasphemous “gift” is the cause for reparation to our dear Lord and Savior. Any true Catholic seeing this come to pass must surely say: “My soul is sorrowful unto death”  as we mourn with Our Lady the hideous blasphemy which overshadows the Church today.

Our Lady of Fatima, Immaculate Virgin, pray for us all now and at the hour of our death.

~ by evensong, for love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, King.
Vouchsafe that I may praise thee, O Sacred Virgin, give me strength against thine enemies.

Fatima, Vatican II and the Chastisement

This is the introduction to a planned series of posts in which we hope to place the Message of Fatima, the Chastisement and the Apocalypse in context. Our Lady of Fatima’s message is a heaven-sent offer to restore faith in the Church and peace in our world. Even in 1917, it was clear that heresy, apostasy and schism were endangering the faith. To correct the growing secular humanism, Our Lady came, requesting prayer and penance, and offering the Pope and hierarchy a simple way to reaffirm their obedience to God. However, the hierarchy of the Church, while giving lip service to the Message of Fatima, in fact refused to comply. By the disobedience of the Popes, God withdrew His grace more and more, until the year 1960.  Pope John XXIII’s  final act of disobedience set the Church adrift.

The only means left is devotion to Mary and the Blessed Sacrament.
The only means left is devotion to Mary and the Blessed Sacrament.

To understand the concept of “the Church adrift”, it is helpful to recall St. John Bosco’s vision. In May, 1862, Don Bosco told of a dream he had of the Church as a stately ship in stormy waters, being besieged by many lesser ships. The ship’s commander, the Pope, was attempting to bring the ship between two pillars to which he would moor it. After the Commander Pope was killed, another Pope took over and successfully moored the ship between the two columns. Don Bosco identified the smaller of the two pillars as Mary, Help of Christians and the larger one as the Most Blessed Sacrament, Salvation of Believers. Note, that in St. John Bosco’s dream, the ship of the Church was struggling to fight off attackers and return to safe harbor between the two pillars of devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Holy Eucharist. Thus, the Church was attempting to return to those devotions, implying that the Church had become unmoored from them. This was a vision of our post-conciliar church.

The signs of this unmooring from the faith are everywhere and there will be no relief until God’s command is heeded. Remember always that Our Blessed Mother only delivered the message, she only ever serves God, and never seeks her own glory. Make no mistake, it God Himself who is being mocked by perfidious churchmen.

On 13 June, 1929, the Blessed Virgin appeared to Sister Lucia, as she had promised 12 years before. The Vision itself speaks volumes but we shall not attempt to cover it here. Instead, here are Our Lady’s words, to Sister Lucia and to us all:

“The moment has come in which God asks the Holy Father to make, and to order that in union with Him and at the same time, all the Bishops of the world make the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, promising to convert it because of this day of prayer and worldwide reparation.”

Notice that the Blessed Virgin does not make this request in her name, but states clearly, “God asks the Holy Father to…” The message was reinforced with the most striking apparition in which the Persons of the Holy Trinity all appeared.

Never at any time was this request honored, not in 1929 nor in any subsequent year. By disobeying God’s command, the Pontiffs, one after another, slipped into a spiritual blindness that eventually brought us to Vatican II. Just as many Catholics mistakenly believe that the Consecration was done as requested, many also, especially traditional Catholics, believe that the Church’s errors began with Vatican II. Not at all.

Those who think Vatican II was the “root of the rot” ignore a great deal of Church history. In the sidebar is a link to Papal Encyclicals Online. Brave and good Popes waged tireless war against freemasonry and modernism in the 19th century. Both Pope Leo XIII and St. Pius X had visions of the evil threatening the Church. They were well aware of the satanic forces even then working to undermine the Church.

The Queen of Heaven offered us, and our Church leaders, a way to avert the coming Chastisement. Her generous offer was spurned, with predictable results. It was all foretold in Chapters 8 – 13 of St. John’s Apocalypse.

In future posts we will look at Chapters 8-13 of the Apocalypse and at the words and actions of the Popes of the Council in the light of Fatima. We shall perhaps begin to understand why the message of Fatima is more important than ever. It may be too late to avert the Chastisement, but it is never too late to repent, at least while life remains. As Our Lord assured Sister Lucia, “It will never be too late to have recourse to Jesus and Mary.”

Pray the Rosary to convert the Pope and avert Kasper’s Agenda!

The Angel’s Message — A Closer Look

In 2000, the Vatican advised Catholics that Fatima’s message was relegated to the past. However, at Fatima on May 13, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI confirmed that, “we would be mistaken to think that the prophetic mission of Fatima is complete“.  And yet, the misinformation campaign from the Vatican continues to bear fruit in the widespread apathy to the true penitential message of Fatima. Any faithful Catholic who has been paying attention to the unfolding crisis of the faith under Pope Francis, can clearly see that the current papacy is not in any way obedient to the message of the Mother of God at Fatima and the Church does not seem to be able to pull out of this self-destructive mode without Divine assistance. Perhaps it is wise to revisit the message of the Angel of Fatima

At Fatima, in 1917, Our Savior Jesus Christ sent us His own Holy Mother as His emissary to urge us to turn from sin, repent and renew our spiritual battle in prayer and reparation. But did you know that the year before, in Summer of 1916,   St. Michael the Archangel, God’s own great warrior, who vanquished Satan and his minions into the eternal fires of hell, appeared to Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta? Fatima scholars believe that St. Michael was preparing the little shepherds to receive Our Lady’s revelations.

The Angel of Fatima
“Take and drink the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, horribly outraged by ungrateful men.
Make reparation for their crimes and console Our Lord

What did the Angel say? After identifying himself as the Angel of Peace, he taught the children to pray. Now, you may well ask, if the Angel was the great warrior Angel of God, St. Michael the Archangel, why did he identify himself as the Angel of Peace? Because as St. Michael knows, peace will only result when Satan is vanquished. In this, our final battle, our greatest spiritual armaments are prayer and sacrifice. In fact, the very essence of the Catholic Faith, the epitome of Catholicity is the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, which unites the most perfect and acceptable prayer with the most perfect and unblemished sacrifice.

After assuring the children at that first visit that “The Hearts of Jesus and Mary are attentive to the voice of your supplications”, the Angel left them, only to return in a few months. At the time, the children were relaxing in the shade of a fig tree beside a well. The Angel reappeared chiding them, “What are you doing? Pray, pray a great deal! The Hearts of Jesus and Mary have designs of mercy for you! Offer unceasingly to the Most High prayers and sacrifices!”

Lucia then asked the Angel how they were to sacrifice themselves. “Offer up everything within your power as a sacrifice to the Lord in an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended; and of supplication for the conversion of sinners….Above all, accept and bear with submission the sufferings that the Lord may send you.”

Reminiscing later, Sister Lucia remarked that the words of the Angel enlightened them to Who God is, how God wants us to love Him and how much He values our sacrifices and rewards them with conversion of sinners. From that time on, the children occupied themselves increasingly in praying to God as the Angel had taught them and making use of the opportunities for sacrifice that presented themselves, moment by moment in their daily lives.

That Autumn, the Angel appeared in the most remarkable of his apparitions thus far. He held a chalice in his hand, over which was suspended a Host, from which drops of Precious Blood fell into the chalice. Leaving the Sacred Host and Chalice suspended in the air, the Angel then prostrated himself on the ground before it, repeating the following prayer:
