Abide in Me…

Corpus Christi, 2019

“For My flesh is meat indeed and My blood is drink indeed.
He that eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, abideth in Me, and I in him.”

Today, the Thursday following Trinity Sunday, we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi, the Sacred Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In the Gospel of John we read:

“I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever; and the bread that I will give, is My flesh for the life of the world.”
The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying: How can this man give us His flesh to eat? (John 6, 51-53)

Then Jesus said to them:

“Amen, amen I say unto you: Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, you shall not have life in you. He that eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, hath everlasting life: and I will raise him up in the last day. For My flesh is meat indeed: and My blood is drink indeed. He that eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, abideth in Me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent Me and I live by the Father; so he that eateth Me, the same also shall live by Me. This is the bread that came down from heaven. Not as your fathers did eat manna and are dead. He that eateth this bread shall live for ever.”

Many therefore of His disciples hearing it, said: This saying is hard and who can hear it? But Jesus, knowing in Himself that His disciples murmured at this, said to them:

“Doth this scandalize you? If then you shall see the Son of man ascend up where He was before? It is the spirit that quickeneth: the flesh profiteth nothing. The words that I have spoken to you, are spirit and life. But there are some of you that believe not”

For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that did not believe, and who he was that would betray Him.

And He said: “Therefore did I say to you, that no man can come to Me unless it be given him by My Father.” After this many of His disciples went back; and walked no more with Him. Then Jesus said to the twelve: “Will you also go away?” And Simon Peter answered Him: Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life. And we have believed and have known that Thou art the Christ, the Son of God. (John 6, 51-70).

To those not of the Catholic faith these teachings are indeed hard. Martin Luther, who began the protestant revolt against the truth, founded his man-made religion on “faith alone, scripture alone”. And now today it has continued to devolve to the point where people can call themselves “Bible Christians” without embracing the truths of the Bible and without believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God the Father, true God and True Man.

As Jesus said, “No man can come to Me, unless it be given to him by the Father.” Although Luther perverted this truth into “only believe”, we know that it refers to the preceding verses in which Jesus states the truth of His abiding presence with us in the Holy Eucharist, to nourish and strengthen us with His Body and Blood until we abide with Him forever in Heaven. On this feast of Corpus Christi pray for our loved ones who “walk no more with Him” and reject this saying which is hard to some but is salvation to those who accept the Word of God.

In the unchanging words of the one true Mass of the Church, at the consecration we pray:

Which oblation do Thou, O God, vouchsafe in all things to make blessed, approved, ratified, reasonable and acceptable, that it may become for us the Body and Blood of Thy most beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Who the day before He suffered, took bread into His holy and venerable hands and with His eyes lifted up to heaven, unto Thee, God, His almighty Father, giving thanks to Thee, He blessed, broke, and gave It to His disciples, saying,: Take all of you and eat of this.

FOR THIS IS MY BODY

In like manner, after He had supped, taking also this excellent chalice into His holy and venerable hands, also giving thanks to Thee, He blessed and gave it to His disciples saying:

Take and drink ye all of this.

FOR THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD OF THE NEW AND ETERNAL TESTAMENT: THE MYSTERY OF FAITH: WHICH SHALL BE SHED FOR YOU AND FOR MANY UNTO THE REMISSION OF SINS.

As often as ye shall do these things, ye shall do them in memory of Me.

The rubrics for the Consecration specify that the priest, after pronouncing the words of Consecration, kneels to adore the Sacred Host and then arises to elevate It for the adoration of all. Again, after Consecrating the wine into the Blood of our Lord, the priest kneels to adore, then rises to elevate the chalice for all to adore.

Today, after a half century of the modernist revolution in the Church, belief in the Real Presence is at an all-time low. Now we have a pope who is the poster child for Vatican II, and he is the proto-typical modernist priest. Here is what Antonio Socci said about Pope Francis on 28 April, 2016. (H/T Rorate Caeli):

Traditional Reverence for the Body and Blood of Christ

In a message today, Pope Bergoglio said precisely the following: “How much I would like us to kneel in veneration before the poor in church.”

Quite frankly, I’d like us to kneel before Jesus Christ, Our Saviour, particularly in front of Our Eucharistic Jesus, seeing that Pope Bergoglio doesn’t kneel at the consecration, as he should do and he doesn’t kneel at Eucharistic Adoration either!

The above was written in 2016. But by now, we have descended into even greater depths of disrespect for the Most Blessed Sacrament.  In many of the Dioceses of the world, it is an established  practice to welcome protestant spouses, homosexual “couples” and couples who are living in a persistent grave state of sin due to adultery to Holy Communion. Because the Sacred Host is dispensed like a taco into the hands of all who ask, we have the horrible sacrilege of consecrated hosts being offered for sale in classified ads online.

We must not allow ourselves to become disheartened, but must renew our efforts to  make reparation for the scandal given by Pope Francis and those unfortunate priests  who, blindly following him, give such offense to Our Lord Jesus Christ.

No doubt anticipating the assaults on Our Lord in His Holy Eucharist, St. Michael appeared to the little saints of Fatima in the Autumn of 1916, He held a Chalice in his hand; above it  a bleeding Host dropped its Precious Blood into the Chalice.  The Angel left the Chalice and Host suspended in the air and led the children to prostrate themselves in adoration before It.

This is the prayer the Angel of Fatima taught them to pray, the prayer the Church has ignored for over a century:

“Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly, and I offer Thee the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of the same Son Jesus Christ present in all the Tabernacles of the world, in reparation for all the sacrileges, outrages, and indifferences by which He Himself is offended. Through the infinite merits of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of poor sinners.”

The entire vision and Prayer make such a fruitful source for meditation and we should think on it often. All the more because the Popes and hierarchy have chosen to ignore it!

One of the most neglected messages of Fatima is Jacinta’s stress on praying for the pope. We have nothing to lose and everything to gain by offering prayers and penances for this unfortunate man.Yes,  Pope Francis shows horrid disrespect for the Real Presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament. But this is precisely why we should pray for him! Just think how bad it will be for him to face Our Lord as his judge!  And so, we must add to our efforts of reparation, prayers for his conversion if we are to be truly the children of Our Lady of Fatima. Even if this pathetic man remains obstinate, we will have obeyed and the grace which he refuses will never be wasted!

For God our Father sees our hearts, knows our sufferings which are united to the sufferings of Our Lord in the Passion of His Bride, the Church, and will have mercy on us all.  Pray confidently and expect miracles!

Irresistible Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

O my Jesus, Who did say, “Indeed I say to you, ask and it shall be given you; seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be open to you.” Here I am, knocking, seeking and asking this grace …

Our Father.. .Hail Mary… Glory be…
O Sacred Heart of Jesus,  I place my trust in Thee.

O my Jesus, who did say, “Indeed I say to you, whatever you shall ask of the Father in My Name, it shall be granted to you.” Here I am, asking Thy Father in Thy Name for this grace …

Our Father… Hail Mary… Glory be…
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in Thee.

O my Jesus who did say, “Indeed I say to you, Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.” Here I am, and supporting myself on the infallibility of Thy holy words, I ask of Thee this grace …

Our Father… Hail Mary… Glory be…
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in Thee.

Prayer
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, for whom only one thing is impossible, and this is not to feel compassion for poor sinners, have pity on us, miserable sinners, and grant us the grace which we ask of Thee through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, who is Thy tender Mother, and also ours. Amen.

Saint Joseph, friend of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Guardian of our family, Pray for us.
Hail Holy Queen …

Our Lord will never be outdone in His generosity to souls who seek His mercy in true contrition. And we all need to make sincere reparation for our sins if we are to gain the necessary graces for ourselves, our loved ones and for our misguided pope and bishops.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of our hearts, Mother of the Church, do thou offer to the Eternal Father the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the conversion of poor sinners, especially our Pontiff.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thy Kingdom come, Viva Cristo Rey!

St. Joseph, guardian of the Holy Family, protect our families, protect our priests!

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.

~ by evensong for love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, King.
Vouchsafe that I may praise thee, O Sacred Virgin! Give me strength against thine enemies!

“I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world”

Trinity Sunday, 2019.  For our accustomed post, see: Trinity Sunday.

“At that time, Jesus said to His disciples: All power is given to Me in Heaven and on earth. Going therefore, teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.”

This was really quite “un-ecumenical” of Our Lord, wasn’t it?  I’m surprised our humble pope has not corrected Our Lord for His errors. For, with these few words, Our Lord states some essentials of the faith:

The Holy Trinity
This is the Catholic Faith

He clearly establishes His divinity: “All power is given to Me”.

“Teach all nations”, that is, He establishes the teaching magisterium of the Church. Note that He is not instructing them to print Bibles and distribute them for each man to interpret themselves. Nor is He commanding them to preach ecology, population control, “tolerance” for perversion and marxist materialism.

“Baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost”. In this, He establishes the first and most essential sacrament and also states the foundation of our Catholic faith, belief in the triune God. This refutes the false ecumenism of Pope Francis, which betrays Christ the King.

“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.” This reinforces the teaching authority of the Church, and also proof that faith alone is not sufficient for salvation.

“I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.” Christ will be with the Church through all ages. This is the basis for our hope, even in perilous times like these.

Pope Francis continues in his efforts to dismantle the framework of the Church, especially by attacking the elements listed above,. Today, in the United States of America, we also celebrate Father’s Day and so we consider the Trinity, particularly the role of God as our Eternal Father. It is natural that those who attack the dogma of the Most Holy Trinity from within the Church itself, should also attack the family, and even the hierarchical structure of the Church itself.

This three pronged attack, on the dogma of the Trinity, the hierarchy of the Church and the family, arises from within the Church, even from the very apex of the Church, from the man who claims to be Vicar of Christ, Pope Francis. Why is this happening? What can we expect and what must be done?

It is happening because of the unholy trinity of age-old sins, i.e.,  the concupiscence of the flesh, and the concupiscence of the eyes, and the pride of life , which is not of the Father, but is of the world. (1 John, 2, 16). These sins have become a deluge in the church under the corrupt and disobedient popes.

Our Lord Jesus Christ founded His Church as an absolute monarchy, with a fallible human being at the head, as His Vicar. This fragile institution is only strong insofar as the Vicar of Christ relies on Him whose Vicar he is to sustain and guide him. Almighty God in His Providence, has designed this so that we may — must! —  work with Him to keep the Church strong. In brief, we get the Pope — and the Church — that we deserve. How can we expect the pope to be faithful, if we ourselves are indifferent to God’s law?

Insight from St. Bridget

Remember those good old days when we read the Rorate headline, “The Horror, the horror”, after Bergoglio’s election? Looking back, those were the good days, compared with the horrifying reality of the Bergoglian church. The following are a scattering of paraphrased quotes from St. Bridget’s revelations  I compiled in the first months after his election when I was preparing an e-book of prophecies that might pertain to the new Bergoglian papacy. The project had to be set aside but lately, reading them again, I was amazed how the words St. Bridget attributes to Our Lord when  read within the context of the Message of Fatima fit so perfectly.  Think of this, Our Lady of Fatima’s plea to us,  “People must amend their lives and ask pardon for their sins … They must not offend Our Lord any more for He is already too much offended.”

It makes me wonder what conversations Our Lord and His spouse have now, in these sad times? What could St. Bridget tell us today?

From The Prophecies and Revelations of Saint Bridget of Sweden

“The words of Christ to His bride about a false man, who is called an enemy of God, and about his hypocrisy and all his characteristics.

On the outside he appears to be decorated with good habits, wisdom and bravery in the service and honor of Me, but he is by no means like that. For if the helmet were removed from his head, that is, if it were shown to people how he really is spiritually in his soul, he would be uglier than all men.

His brain is bare because his foolish customs and frivolity clearly demonstrate to good men that he is unworthy of such an honor. For if My wisdom pleased him, he would understand how much his honor is greater than others, thereby clothing himself in the most rigorous of conduct and divine virtues as compared to others.

Instead of having the humility due to his high dignity in being a light for others to teach them good things, he only wants to hear about his own praise and glory, thereby becoming so prideful that he only wants to be called great and good by everyone.

All his thoughts are turned to the present instead of the eternal. He thinks about how to please men and about the requirements for the needs of the flesh, but not about how he may please me and benefit souls.

He has lost all rational discretion whereby he might distinguish between sin and virtue, between worldly honor and eternal honor, between worldly and eternal riches, between the short pleasures of the world and the eternal pleasures.

All the veneration he should have for me, with the beauty of the virtues whereby he might please me, are entirely dead in the service of me. The imitation of my works and the preaching of my words is totally fallen off from him so that nothing remains in him except his gluttonous, insatiable desire to be involved in worldly affairs.

His chest is full of worms, because in his chest, where the remembrance of my suffering and my commandments should be, there is only a care for the things of the world with the desire and greed of the world, which are like worms devouring his conscience so that he does not think of spiritual things.

In his heart, where I would wish to dwell and my love should be, there now sits the most evil scorpion with a stinging tail and an enticing face and tongue; because pleasing and reasonable words proceed from his mouth, but his heart is full of injustice and deceit, because he does not care if the church he is supervising gets destroyed, as long as he can follow his own will.

His arms are like two snakes, because in his malice he reaches out his arms to the simple-minded and calls them to himself with simplicity, but, when he gets a suitable opportunity, he causes them to fall pitifully. Like a snake, he coils himself into a ring, because he hides his malice and unrighteousness, so that barely anyone can understand his treacherous plans.

He is like the most vile snake in my sight, for just as the snake is more detestable than any other animal, so is he more ugly in my sight than any other man, since he counts my justice as nothing and holds me to be as a man who is unwilling to judge righteously.

His back should be like ivory since his deeds should be more mighty and pure than others in order to be able to better carry the weak through his patience and his example of a good life. But now he is like coal, because he is too impatient to endure a single word for my honor, unless he benefits from it. Yet he seems to be mighty to the world.

Therefore, when he thinks he stands, he will fall, since he is as hideous and lifeless as coal before me and my saints.

His intestines stink, because his thoughts and desires smell like rotting flesh before me with a stench that no one can tolerate. Neither can any of my saints tolerate him, but everyone turns his face away from him and demands a judgment over him.

His feet are dead. His two feet are his two dispositions towards me, that is, his will to make amends for the sins he has done and his will to do good deeds. But these feet are altogether dead in him, because all the marrow of love is consumed in him and nothing is left in him except the hardened bones. And in this way he stands before me.

However, as long as the soul is with the body, he can find my mercy.

Explanation:

Saint Lawrence appeared and said: “This bishop (of Rome?) tolerates and pretends not to notice the incontinence of the clergy, and he liberally distributes the goods of the Church to the rich and shows love only toward himself and his own friends. Therefore, I declare to him that the lightest cloud now has ascended into heaven, but dark smoke of fire overshadows it so that it cannot be seen by many. This cloud is the prayer of the Mother of God for the Holy Church. The fire of greed, ungodliness, and unrighteousness darken it so much that the mercy of the Mother of God cannot easily enter the hearts of the wretched.

Therefore, let the bishop quickly turn to the divine love by correcting himself and his subordinates, admonishing them with his good example and word, and leading them to a better life. Otherwise, he will feel the vengeance and justice of the Divine Judge, and his church will be purged by fire and the sword and afflicted by plundering and tribulation so that it will be a long time before anyone consoles her.”

The words of Our Lord Jesus Christ to the Pope: O head of my Church, who sit on my seat which I gave to Peter and his successors to sit on with a threefold dignity and power: First, so that they would have the power of binding and loosing souls from their sins. Second, so that they would open Heaven for the penitent. Third, so that that they would close Heaven to the damned and to those who despise my Law.

But you, who should be healing souls and presenting them to me, you are in truth a murderer of souls. I appointed Peter as shepherd and guardian of my sheep. But you, however, scatter and wound them.

You are worse than Lucifer. for you do not only kill me by driving me off from yourself by your bad deeds, but you also kill souls by your bad example. I redeemed the souls with my blood and entrusted them to you as to a faithful friend, but you deliver them back again to the enemy from whom I redeemed them.

You are more unrighteous than Pilate. for you not only judge me as if I were a powerless lord and worthy of no good thing, no, you also judge and condemn the souls of the innocent and let the guilty go free without any rebuke.

You are more cruel than Judas for you not only sell me, but also the souls of my chosen men for your own shameful profit and vain name’s sake.

Then our Lord said to him: “The sword of my severity will go into your body; it shall enter at the top of your head and penetrate you so deeply and violently that it can never be drawn out. Your chair will sink like a heavy stone and never stop before it comes to the lowest of depths. Your fingers, that is, your assistants and advisers, will burn in the inextinguishable sulfurous fire.

Your arms, that is, your office-holders, who should have reached out for the help and benefit of souls but instead reached out for worldly honor and profit, will be judged to the torment and suffering of which David speaks: ‘His sons shall be fatherless and his wife a widow and others shall take his property.’ Who is ‘his wife’ if not the soul which shall be excluded from the glory of Heaven and be widowed and lose God? ‘His sons’, that is, the virtues they appeared to have, and my simple and humble men who were under them, shall be separated from them. Their honor and property will be given to others, and they will inherit eternal shame instead of their dignity and glory.

Their headgear will sink down into the filth of hell, and they will never be able to get up out of it. Just as they rose above others through their honor and pride, so in hell they will sink so much deeper than others so that it will be impossible for them to ever stand up again. Their limbs, that is, all the priests who followed and helped them in wickedness, will be cut off from them and severed just like the wall that is torn down where not a single stone is left upon another stone and the cement no longer adheres to the stones.

No mercy will come to them, for my love will never warm them nor restore or build them up into an eternal house in Heaven, but instead they shall be excluded from all good and endlessly tormented with their headmen and leaders.

In the following passage, St. Bridget describes a dialogue between God the Father and the Son and the Blessed Virgin and Angels over the fate of the Church occupied by the foul man described above..

“God the Father’s words before the host of the kingdom of Heaven, and the answer of the Son and Mother to the Father asking for mercy for the daughter, that is, the Church.God the Father spoke while the whole host of heaven was listening, and said: “Before you all, I complain over giving my daughter to a man who tortures her greatly and without measure, crushing her feet in the stocks so severely that all the marrow has gone out of her feet.

”The Son answered Him: “Father, she is the one I redeemed with my blood and espoused to myself, but now she has been brutally violated.

”Then the Mother of God spoke and said: “You are my God and my Lord, and Your blessed Son’s limbs were enclosed within my body; He is Your true Son and my true Son. I refused you nothing on earth. Have mercy on Your daughter for the sake of my prayers.

”Thereafter the angels spoke, saying:  “We all rejoiced when your daughter went forth from you, but now we are rightly sad, because she has been given into the hands of the worst man who insults her with all kinds of mocking and abuse. Have mercy on her for the sake of Your great mercy, for her misery is very great, and there is no one to console and save her but You Lord, God Almighty.

”Then God the Father answered the Son, saying: “O my Son, your grievance is my grievance, your word is my word, your deeds are my deeds. You are in me and I am in you inseparably. Your will be done!”Then He said to the Mother of the Son: “Since you did not refuse me anything on earth, I will not refuse you anything in heaven, and your will shall be fulfilled.”And then He said to the angels: “You are my friends, and the flame of your love burns in my heart. Therefore, I shall have mercy on my daughter (the Church) for the sake of your prayers.”

The vivid language which Saint Bridget attributes to Christ is probably a shock to some today, but it is an indication of Our Lord’s extreme displeasure at the behavior of those who are so brutally violating the Holy Bride of Christ.

And God the Father of mercy will at last have mercy on His daughter the Church.

Christ the King, 2018

Today, the last Sunday of October, we honor Our Lord Jesus Christ, King.

During His Passion, Pilate asked Our Lord Jesus Christ, “Art Thou the King of the Jews?” As St. John relates,

Jesus answered: ‘My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would certainly strive that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now My kingdom is not from hence.’ Pilate therefore said to Him: Art Thou a king then? Jesus answered: ‘Thou sayest that I am a king. For this was I born, and for this came I into the world; that I should give testimony to the truth. Every one that is of the truth, heareth My voice.’

Pilate saith to Him: ‘What is truth?’ And when he said this, he went out again to the Jews…” (John 18, 33-38)

‘Thou sayest that I am a king. For this was I born, and for this came I into the world; that I should give testimony to the truth. Every one that is of the truth, heareth My voice.’

Notice that Pilate, after asking Jesus, “What is truth?” walked away without attending to His answer. Isn’t that typical of the posturing of the leaders of this world! Here is Jesus telling us that everyone who is of the truth hears His voice and Pilate proves that he is not of the truth by ignoring Christ the King’s voice.

Picture if you will, our King as He must have looked when He said these words, not in front of a cheering crowd, but instead, a jeering mob crying for His crucifixion and death. Not wearing splendid garments but clothed in His bloodied and dirtied robe; not crowned with gold and jewels but with hateful thorns. Thus His appearance affirms His message, that is, that His Kingdom is not of this world. There is enmity between His Kingdom and the false kingdoms of this world. It is a kingdom so sublime that nothing this world can do can impinge upon it, and it will have no end.

By affirming that “My kingdom is not of this world”, Our Lord was teaching that contrary to worldly kings who maintain  their transient rule by force of arms, by worldly power, His kingdom is absolute, it exists beyond time and will never end. His rule in encoded in our hearts, minds, in our wills and we ignore it at the peril of our souls.  There is no escaping it, and whether we accept it, shrug it off with indifference or combat it actively, we nevertheless serve it. Until He comes in glory, we must, in obedience to our thorn-crowned King, serve Him and proclaim His sovereignty in truth and love in all we do.

Make no mistake: our choice is clear: We will serve one or the other: Christ will be our King or by default we serve the ancient enemy of Christ, Satan.

God made you like this

Pope Francis explains what is happening and why.

No, he has not broken his self-righteous silence, but if we look back on a recent event, we may understand his motives. Pope Francis is not going to back down from his complicity with the Lavender/St. Gallen Mafia which put him in office. In the first place, he is as he boasts, “by the will of Christ Himself – the supreme Pastor and Teacher of all the faithful”. And that he enjoys, “supreme, full, immediate, and universal ordinary power in the Church”.

In the second place, he believes that for an older homosexual man to force his will on a young, but physically mature boy is beneficial to the boy. This is not a new concept, it is thousands of years old. And today, sodomy between a man and a boy is a well respected tradition of initiation within the very circles that have gained control in the Church.  As we explained in The Pitchman“:

“God made you like this”

“Juan Carlos, that you are gay does not matter. God made you like this and loves you like this and I don’t care. The pope loves you like this. You have to be happy with who you are.”

Pope Francis said that during an interview with Juan Carlos Cruz, one of the victims in in the Chilean clerical sex abuse scandal. Cruz, who now declares himself a homosexual, is thus lauded by Pope Francis in a way that echoes the talking points of NAMBLA.

According to NAMBLA, one of their stated goals includes: “to educate society about the positive and beneficial nature of man/boy love, and to support men and boys involved in consensual sexual and emotional relationships with each other.”

Passing strange isn’t it? The Vicar of Christ speaking as though he were a “card-carrying” member of NAMBLA, (the North American Man Boy Love Association). They firmly avow that they are doing young men a service; as one member once assured me, “I was making good citizens of them.”

Pope Francis uttered that blasphemous lie in the same breath with which he assured Cruz that he is the Pope. That is to say, he used his position as Vicar of Christ to deceive a young victim of a homosexual priest-predator.

Oh yes, Juan Carlos Cruz must “be happy” with who he is, for “God” made him that way. Whose “God” might that be? Why, the “God” of Pope Francis, of course. This demonstrates to us that this pope will not in any substantive way hinder the homosexual agenda in the Church. And Catholics throughout the Church are angry and betrayed as they should be. He does not believe that he can be removed from his position. “Supreme Pastor and Teacher of all the faithful!”

Most Catholic commentators realize this, and are in favor of the civil and criminal investigations which are cropping up across the United States and beginning in other countries as well.  Their sentiments were reflected by a commentator I admire very much, Rorate’s Joseph Shaw, “Yes, let it all come out, even if some of the abusers turn out to be people we like and have trusted. As St Catherine of Siena said: “We’ve had enough exhortations to be silent. Cry out with a thousand tongues – I see the world is rotten because of silence.” (LINK)

Of course, he is right. These sins do cry out to heaven and the truth must be told. But we should bear in mind also that there is an agenda behind this.  We will soon see this crisis used to strip the Church of her properties, her wealth and her very last shred of dignity. And tragically, our Pope of Affliction will do not one thing to defend the pure and holy Bride of Christ. For this is the hour of Judas, and the power of darkness. The ancient enemy of Christ and His Church holds all the power of the world’s nations, as well as all the earthly power in the Church. Since those who lead the Church now and even most of the laity, no longer believe in the spiritual power of the Church, no longer wish to avail themselves of the powerful but humble weapons given to them by Our Lady of the Rosary at Fatima, it seems that we must proceed, as Jesus Christ our Savior did, to trudge the path to Calvary. How long, oh Lord, how long?

†  Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of our hearts, Mother of the Church, do thou offer to the Eternal Father the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the conversion of poor sinners, especially our Pontiff.

~ by evensong for love of the Immaculata.

Note to my friends and loyal readers. I have worked overly hard to share with you an interpretation of what is happening and why it is happening in order to emphasise one thing only. All of this, every single item of every event that is occurring is for one reason only. In every event, God Who loves you so much that He willed to save you at the cost of His suffering and death, wants you to turn from your own ways of doing things, your own solutions to your problems, and avail yourself of His mercy and Hig generous graces, which are ONLY to be found in the one, true faith He established.

The Church remains pure and holy, even as Her founder, Our Lord Jesus Christ. When He lay in the dirt, bruised, bleeding, spit upon and seeming defeated, He remained the pure and spotless Victim, offered for our sins. And when His dead body was laid in our Blessed Mother’s arms, even then, He was preparing His Resurrection. The devil rejoiced to see His broken body and His Sorrowful Mother’s copious bitter tears. He rejoices now, as he sees Catholics fleeing the Church in disgust.

By leaving, they deprive themselves of the sanctifying grace which is essential for their soul’s survival in these times. Despite what they may think, sanctifying grace, the true life of God for your soul, only comes from the true sacraments in the true church. Those who have broken from the faith are abandoning the only means for their salvation. We are obligated to pray and offer penance for them, but do not look back at them.

Let them go, for Our Lord knows His own and they know Him. Those who insist on following Him in their own way, well, they are dross, let them go. Only by obedience to God’s merciful message of Fatima, through devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, ever obedient, will we be saved.

Please do not allow others to mislead you by spreading errors about the Society of St. Pius X. It is the true Remnant that will save the Church. Do not take my word but pray your Rosary and Our Lady will lead you to the Truth!

I will rest a while but have arranged for several re-posts of popular articles at the appropriate time. I do hope that you will continue to pray for our priests who are suffering a white martyrdom now, perhaps to prepare them for what is to follow.

I pray for you always, thank you for reading.

Pope Francis Must Resign

Pope Francis must be the first to set a good example for cardinals and bishops who covered up McCarrick’s abuses and resign along with all of them.

I’ve added an update at the end of the article. Please note the significance: Abp. Vigano issued this Testimony on the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary!

When I arose this morning at 3 a.m., a reader had texted me the link to the testimony of Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò,  the former apostolic nuncio to the United States which has been made public thanks to Lifesite News and writer Diane Mantagna’s translation. Please refer to the Lifesite News article for the complete story. That link is HERE.

Archbishop Viganò stated that “The main reason why I am revealing this news now is because of the tragic situation of the Church, which can be repaired only by the full truth, just as she has been gravely injured by the abuses and coverups. I do this to stop the suffering of the victims and to prevent new victims, and to protect the Church: only the truth can make her free.” Viganò said the second reason he chose to write his testimony is “to discharge my conscience before God of my responsibilities as bishop of the universal Church. I am an old man and I want to present myself to God with clean conscience.”

I have taken the liberty of emphasizing pertinent sections as it is lengthy.

TESTIMONY

by
His Excellency Carlo Maria Viganò Titular Archbishop of Ulpiana Apostolic Nuncio

In this tragic moment for the Church in various parts of the world — the United States, Chile, Honduras, Australia, etc. — bishops have a very grave responsibility. I am thinking in particular of the United States of America, where I was sent as Apostolic Nuncio by Pope Benedict XVI on October 19, 2011, the memorial feast of the First North American Martyrs. The Bishops of the United States are called, and I with them, to follow the example of these first martyrs who brought the Gospel to the lands of America, to be credible witnesses of the immeasurable love of Christ, the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Bishops and priests, abusing their authority, have committed horrendous crimes to the detriment of their faithful, minors, innocent victims, and young men eager to offer their lives to the Church, or by their silence have not prevented that such crimes continue to be perpetrated.

To restore the beauty of holiness to the face of the Bride of Christ, which is terribly disfigured by so many abominable crimes, and if we truly want to free the Church from the fetid swamp into which she has fallen, we must have the courage to tear down the culture of secrecy and publicly confess the truths we have kept hidden. We must tear down the conspiracy of silence with which bishops and priests have protected themselves at the expense of their faithful, a conspiracy of silence that in the eyes of the world risks making the Church look like a sect, a conspiracy of silence not so dissimilar from the one that prevails in the mafia. “Whatever you have said in the dark … shall be proclaimed from the housetops” (Lk. 12:3).

Fatima and the Suffering Church, 2018

Continuing our reposts, the following is from 2014, but has some relevance for today, now that 100 years has passed.

Curiouser and curiouser …. have you noticed how little by little, items get leaked about Fatima; items which don’t answer any questions, but rather point out how incomplete our understanding is? We are approaching the centenary of Fatima’s series of revelations which began in 1917, certainly an eventful century! Seems that the more the Vatican stifles her message, the more the Blessed Virgin allows to emerge…

And now, Antonio Socci, the Italian author who wrote the blockbuster The Fourth Secret of Fatima, has written an article bringing forth a bit more information. It is from a recently released biography of Sister Lucia by the nuns of her convent in Coimbra. The book, entitled, “Un caminho sob o olhar de Maria” (“A Path Under the Gaze of Mary”), is not yet available in English.

I’ve seen several translations of Socci’s article, none of which were very good, but now Christopher Ferrara has written about it at Fatima Perspectives, including a good translation. Here is a bit from his article, the whole article can be accessed here:

“In the apparition of July 13, the Madonna had entrusted to the children a message for the whole world. It was the great prophecy concerning the coming decades if humanity did not turn to God.

In fact, it would all be realized: the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia, the spread of communism in the world, the bloody persecutions of the Church and, finally, the tragic Second World War.

There was also a third part of the Secret that had to be revealed — said the Madonna — in 1960. Arriving at that date, John XXIII hid the whole thing, so terrible were its contents.

He thus provoked a jumble of hypotheses. In 2000, John Paul made known the text of the Third Secret that contains the famous vision of the “Bishop dressed in white,” with the Pope who traverses a destroyed city, the many dead bodies, and then the martyrdom of the Holy Father, of bishops, priests and faithful. …

Socci goes on to relate that it was Pope Benedict himself who in 2010, confirmed that Fatima is far from over,

But a resounding explicit confirmation came from Benedict XVI himself, who, during an unexpected pilgrimage to Fatima on May 13, 2010, affirmed: “He deceives himself who thinks that the prophetic mission of Fatima is concluded.”

He added: “there are indicated future realities of the Church which little by little are manifesting themselves… and therefore it is the sufferings of the Church which are announced.

But could such prophecies be found in that text [of the vision]?

These two phrases of the Pope in that discourse at Fatima prompt reflection:

“Man has the power to unleash a cycle of death and terror, but he is not able to stop it.”

And then: “The faith in vast regions of the earth risks being extinguished, like a flame without fuel.”

From these words of Pope Benedict one discerns, therefore, that there is truly something else in the Third Secret and that it is dramatic for the world and the Church. Perhaps it is precisely due to that visit by the Pope that this book was released, from which another precious little piece of the truth filters out.

The volume in fact draws from the letters of Sister Lucia and from the unpublished diary “My Way.” Impressive among things previously unpublished, is the account of how Sister Lucy overcame the terror that prevented her from writing down the Third Secret.

The Unpublished Account

At around 4 p.m. on January 3, 1944, in the chapel of the convent, before the Tabernacle, Lucia asked Jesus to make known His will: “I then felt a friendly hand, maternal and affectionate, touch my shoulder.”

And the Mother of God said to her: “be at peace, and write what I have commanded you, but not, however, that which has been given to you to understand its meaning,” intending to allude to the meaning of the vision which the Virgin herself had revealed.

Immediately afterward, said Sister Lucia,

” the point of a lance like a flame … touches the axis of the earth”

“I felt my spirit inundated by a mystery of light that is God and in Him I saw and heard: the point of a lance like a flame that is detached, touches the axis of the earth, and it trembles: mountains, cities, towns and villages with their inhabitants are buried. The sea, the rivers, the clouds, exceed their boundaries, inundating and dragging with them, in a vortex, houses and people in a number that cannot be counted. It is the purification of the world from the sin in which it is immersed. Hatred, ambition, provoke the destructive war. After I felt my racing heart, in my spirit a soft voice said: ‘In time, one faith, one baptism, one Church, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic. In eternity, Heaven!’ This word ‘Heaven’ filled my heart with peace and happiness in such a way that, almost without being aware of it, I kept repeating to myself for a long time: Heaven, Heaven.” (Antonio Socci)

From this came the strength to write the Third Secret. …

Socci rightly points out that Pope Benedict’s remarks in 2010 reopened the dialogue and now, in 2014, with this biography, once more the subject is brought before us. But once again, it is obvious that there are restraining forces silencing those who would speak fully about the complete message of the Virgin.

In his conclusion, Socci notes that the Blessed Virgin promised us at Fatima that, “In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.” And then he adds,

“To this hoped for “triumph” Pope Benedict made reference in 2010:

“May the seven years which separate us from the centenary of the Apparitions (2017) hasten the prophesied triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the glory of the Most Holy Trinity.”

Does this mean that today, in 2014, we have already entered into the terrible trial? In fact, if you read the news…

Antonio Socci
From Il Libero, August 17, 2014

For my part, I believe that Pope Leo XIII’s prophecy about satan being set loose for 100 years began sometime between the death of our last saintly Pope, Pius X in 1914 and the warnings of the Mother of God at Fatima in 1917. It is possible that within this timeframe, the evil was turned loose and the Church was given a period of grace in which to obey the warnings of the Blessed Virgin Mary. But although the Church did some things, it never wholeheartedly gave the response asked for by the Virgin.

There was no concerted effort to proclaim a year of penance in reparation, the First Saturdays of Reparation Our Lady asked for were never established  by the hierarchy.  Instead, Sister Lucia was silenced and in 1960 the rejection of Fatima was completed by Pope John XXIII which is why Sister Lucia foretold that, “It will be clearer then.”

Ever since Pope John XXIII’s  fateful decision to disobey the Mother of Jesus,  we have been being chastised in earnest, both by wars and by spiritual disaster in the Church. What could be worse that the loss of millions of souls through the ongoing apostasy of the Faith? The genocide of Christians, the slaughter of innocents through abortion, the continuous drums of war, all this is a huge and rapidly accelerating chastisement which will soon be joined by the very forces of nature causing the instantaneous obliteration of entire nations.

And the answer to all this lies in our own hearts and minds. We are called to renew our daily sacrifices, the humble silent ones no one knows about save us and God. Offer our sacrifices to our thorn-crowned King through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, united with His suffering in all the holy tabernacles of the world in reparation for this faithless generation which everywhere and always blasphemes, outrages and insults Him, especially and particularly for the Pope and hierarchy, that they and all poor sinners may be saved, through the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Please continue to pray daily for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the upcoming Synod of Bishops called for by this unholiest of Holy Fathers.

NOTE:  We might consider that in the case of the King of France, when the 100 years passed, no one noted the correlation between the King being stripped of his powers and the date of the request of the Sacred Heart of Jesus – that was not evident until years later. But an irreversible chain of events had been set into motion. Now Pope Francis has been very, very clear on just one thing: that the changes he is making are irreversible.

The reason for this repost right now is to help readers to understand that a deadline has passed. In the earlier instance, passing the deadline resulted in: the horrific Reign of Terror of the French Revolution, the destruction of the French monarchy, a further step in the destruction of Christendom which resulted from Luther’s revolt and lastly, the leap in power of the occult forces which appear to be all but  fully in control now.

Which leads to the inevitable question – what “irreversible” chain of events has now been set in motion?

Think on it and please, pray the Rosary for the love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the salvation of souls!

† . Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of our hearts, Mother of the Church, do thou offer to the Eternal Father the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the conversion of poor sinners, especially our Pontiff.

. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thy kingdom come! Viva Cristo Rey!

. Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death.

† . St. Joseph, protect our families, protect our priests.

. St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.

Please pray for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary!

~ by evensong for love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, King.
Vouchsafe that I may praise thee, O Sacred Virgin! Give me strength against thine enemies!

Of Dead Prophets and Unquenchable Fire, 2017

On this day, the Church in her wisdom commemorates the birth of St. John the Baptist. He is one of only three whose births the liturgy celebrates; the others are Jesus and Mary. And the reason we celebrate their births is that these three are the only ones since Adam and Eve’s transgression to be born free from original sin. All of us are born in sin, and few indeed preserve their baptismal purity. This  truth is one of many depicted in the life and death of St. John the Baptist; truths  which have become unwelcome in this new Bergoglian Church.

St. John the Baptist, who spoke the truth.
St. John the Baptist, who spoke the truth.

In recalling to us  St. John’s birth, the Church implicitly emphasises original sin and baptism.

  • John was freed from original sin in his mother’s womb by Jesus, before either were born, through the Blessed Virgin Mary. This was the first miracle worked by our Lord Jesus Christ and was performed through the mediation of His Immaculate Mother.
  • Scripture tells us that John baptised in penance, thus we are called to consider the necessity of repentance and the need for baptism to free each of us from original sin.

Regarding St. John’s life and death, in Matthew we read this description:

John had his garment of camels’ hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins: and his meat was locusts and wild honey. And his words: Do penance: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. …And seeing many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them: “Ye brood of vipers, who hath shewed you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruit worthy of penance …For now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that doth not yield good fruit, shall be cut down, and cast into the fire. I indeed baptize you in the water unto penance, but He that shall come after me, is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear; He shall baptize you in the Holy Ghost and fire. Whose fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly cleanse His floor and gather His wheat into the barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire.”

Now what are we told of his end? Again, Matthew tells us:

“For Herod had apprehended John and bound him, and put him into prison, because of Herodias, his brother’ s wife. For John said to him: It is not lawful for thee to have her.  And having a mind to put him to death, he feared the people: because they esteemed him as a prophet. But on Herod’ s birthday, the daughter of Herodias danced before them: and pleased Herod. Whereupon he promised with an oath, to give her whatsoever she would ask of him. But she being instructed before by her mother, said: Give me here in a dish the head of John the Baptist.  And the king was struck sad: yet because of his oath, and for them that sat with him at table, he commanded it to be given. And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.  And his head was brought in a dish: and it was given to the damsel, and she brought it to her mother.”

The Moment Has Come …

“The moment has come … ” With these words, Our Lady of Fatima began the most significant and mystical vision of all the Marian apparitions when she appeared to Sister Lucia at Tuy on June 13, 1929. In this post we will attempt to understand the vision and its message for us today in light of the Apocalypse and the events of this centenary year.

Previously, in Apocalypse 12 we saw that great red dragon, whom Pope Leo XIII referred to as, “the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan” go to war against the Woman clothed with the Sun, and prepare to make war with “her seed”, the faithful Church.  Chapter 12 ends:

And the dragon was angry against the woman: and went to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.  And he stood upon the sand of the sea.

Now, we arrive at Apocalypse 13, which reveals the strategy of the dragon, which is satan. In her book, “Beyond Politics”, Solange Hertz describes the scene for us,

Before St. John’s eyes a diabolic trinity began taking shape which appears to be a blasphemous parody of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. The Apostle sees a beast coming up out of the sea, followed by another beast coming from the earth. These two are joined in a close relationship with each other and with the Dragon, who is, of course, Satan himself, and who animates and directs them in such a way that the three operate as one. St. John saw the Dragon give the first beast “his own strength and great power,” so that the reprobates “adored the dragon which gave power to the beast.” The second beast also derives his power from the Dragon, but through the medium of the first beast. We are told, “He executed all the power of the former beast in his sight; and he caused the earth and them that dwell therein to adore the first beast,” just as this first beast had caused them to adore the Dragon. Thus the Dragon mimics the role of God the Father in the Blessed Trinity, source of both the Son and the Holy Ghost, whose parts are played by the two Beasts in the diabolic threesome.

What does St. John tell us of this second beast, the one who arises from the earth, which is symbolic of the Church?

“And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns, like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. And he executed all the power of the former beast in his sight; and he caused the earth, and them that dwell therein, to adore the first beast, whose wound to death was healed.” (Apocalypse 13, 11-12)

Thus, we see that this second beast appears as a lamb, but “he spoke as a dragon”. This warns us that although the beast masquerades as the leader of Christians, he has a diabolic agenda. The reader will draw his own conclusions. For now, we simply point out that St. John’s vision of the diabolical trinity also represents a  reversal of Christendom.  In the diabolical vision, the State derives from Satan and then, the so-called “Church” (one world religion of man) derives from the State and serves the State, not God. This is the direct reversal of Christendom in which Christ reigns over all. This vision is the same as that proposed by Pope Paul VI at the close of Vatican II and most thoroughly exemplified by the new Bergoglian church, which occupies the Vatican and seeks now to draw all  into its deadly grasp, the Franciscans of the Immaculate, the Sovereign Military Order of the Knights of Malta, and now the Society of St. Pius X. And there is none to withstand him.

Let us compare that vision of St. John’s with the remarkable vision granted to Sister Lucia at Tuy, June 13, 1929.

The Vision of Tuy

The moment has come …

Suddenly a supernatural light illumined the whole chapel and on the altar appeared a cross of light which reached to the ceiling.  In a brighter part could be seen, on the upper part of the Cross, the face of a man and His body to the waist;  On His breast was an equally luminous dove,  and nailed to the cross, the body of another man.

A little below the waist, suspended in mid-air, was to be seen a Chalice and a large Host on to which fell some drops of Blood from the face of the Crucified and from a wound in His breast. These drops ran down over the Host and fell into the Chalice.

Under the right arm of the Cross was Our Lady with Her Immaculate Heart in Her hand … (It was Our Lady of Fatima with Her Immaculate Heart… in Her left hand… without a sword or roses, but with a crown of thorns and flames…)

Under the left arm (of the Cross), some big letters, as it were of crystal-clear water running down over the Altar, formed these words: “Grace and Mercy”.

“I understood that it was the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity that was shown to me …”

Then Our Lady said to me:

“The moment has come when God asks the Holy Father to make, in union with all the bishops of the world, the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means.  So numerous are the souls which the justice of God condemns for sins committed against Me, that I come to ask for reparation. Sacrifice yourself for this intention and pray.”

In her memoirs, recounted by Frere Michel, Sister Lucia states that later, by means of an interior communication, Our Lord said to her,

“They did not want to heed My request! … Like the King of France they will repent and do it, but it will be late. Russia will have already spread its errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecutions against the Church: the Holy Father will have much to suffer.”

This vision at Tuy was Heaven’s warning against the diabolical attacks which even then threatened the Church. In it, God, in His infinite providence is asserting both His dominion and the means He is offering for those who choose to follow Him.  At Tuy, the message of Fatima is confirmed and clarified for those who would see. We are offered the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Mother of all those who follow Him in truth. God’s dominion is through His grace and mercy, which flow from His crucifixion by which He saves all those who repent from their sins and take up their crosses, following Him. As the vision shows, He nourishes us with His Sacred Body and Blood.

This mystical vision, so rich in its sacred imagery was given for two reasons: firstly, to warn the Pope and hierarchy of that time, who refused to heed it and secondly, to assist the faithful of our time. For at this time, the second beast is perilously close to achieving the goal of the first beast, which is to eliminate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.  We discussed this in at least two earlier posts, “June 13, 2015” and “The Message of Fatima for the Post-synodal Church”. An excerpt:

“The period of time after 1917 was a series of setbacks; although the Popes and Bishops recognized Fatima and appeared to honor Our Lady of Fatima, the corruption in the Church continued and devotion to the true message of Fatima was never promoted. Pope Benedict XV, who had succeeded St. Pius X,  dismantled his Anti-Modernist structures including the offices of the Sodalitium Pianum that were finally closed down altogether in 1921. Thus, modernism began its resurgence in the seminaries and universities, preparing the way for those “Periti” who would engineer the the takeover of the Second Vatican Council, which they themselves called the Revolution of 1789 in the Church.

“Benedict  XV was followed by Pius XI, a brilliant intellectual and considered thoroughly orthodox in matters of the faith. However, his secular policies, resulting from the influence of his Masonic Secretary of State Gasparri, brought much harm to the Church. He effectively destroyed Catholic political parties, entered into various concordats, and in 1929 he ceded the Papal States to Italy in exchange for a large sum of money, with which the Vatican then entered the ranks of international bankers. Pius XI’s Secretary of State, Gasparri also engineered a treaty in Mexico which effectively disarmed the Cristeros although the persecution of Mexican Catholics continued for years afterwards. It is most likely that it is these events, the Vatican’s entrance into Masonic controlled international banking (with all the corruption and intrigue that entails)and its betrayal of Catholic faithful, that prompted Our Lady’s return to Sister Lucia again.”

With each pope’s arrogant denial of Heaven’s request, the darkness and chaos increased as grace and faith ebbed away until we finally arrived at the apotheosis of the modernist heresy, Jorge Bergoglio, who seeks to complete the total perversion of the faith in time for the “celebration” of Martin Luther’s soul destroying revolution.

Pope Francis came to Fatima and on the 100th anniversary of Our Lady of the Rosary’s first apparition, and here is what he offered Our Lady by way of a tribute:

“Pilgrims with Mary… But which Mary? A teacher of the spiritual life, the first to follow Jesus on the “narrow way” of the cross by giving us an example, or a Lady “unapproachable” and impossible to imitate? A woman “blessed because she believed” always and everywhere in God’s words (cf. Lk 1:42.45), or a “plaster statue” from whom we beg favours at little cost? The Virgin Mary of the Gospel, venerated by the Church at prayer, or a Mary of our own making: one who restrains the arm of a vengeful God; one sweeter than Jesus the ruthless judge; one more merciful than the Lamb slain for us?

“Great injustice is done to God’s grace whenever we say that sins are punished by his judgment, without first saying – as the Gospel clearly does – that they are forgiven by his mercy! Mercy has to be put before judgment and, in any case, God’s judgment will always be rendered in the light of his mercy. Obviously, God’s mercy does not deny justice, for Jesus took upon himself the consequences of our sin, together with its due punishment. He did not deny sin, but redeemed it on the cross. Hence, in the faith that unites us to the cross of Christ, we are freed of our sins; we put aside all fear and dread, as unbefitting those who are loved (cf. 1 Jn 4:18). …”

“With Mary, may each of us become a sign and sacrament of the mercy of God, who pardons always and pardons everything.”

The best rebuttal of that blasphemous tripe is from Christopher Ferrara who defended Our Lady most elegantly in his Fatima Perspective 1008.

In it, Mr. Ferrara affirms that, “Mary …  is the Immaculate Conception, the sinless Virgin Mother of God, the Mediatrix of all Graces, and the Co-Redemptrix, Who from all eternity was destined to play Her central role in the Redemption by bearing the God-Man conceived by the Holy Ghost in Her own womb, flesh of Her flesh, Her true Son.” …

“And then the false alternative, combined with caricature: it is either the “Mary of the Gospel” or the “Mary of our own making: one who restrains the arm of a vengeful God; one sweeter than Jesus the ruthless judge; one more merciful than the Lamb slain for us…” …

“Implicit in this snide distortion of the traditional Catholic view of Mary is, first of all, an implicit negation of the entire Message of Fatima, which involves precisely the ultimatum that God will inflict terrible punishments on humanity and that souls will be lost for all eternity unless the Virgin’s requests are granted. Moreover, the vision the Vatican itself published in 2000 depicts the destructive rays emanating from the avenging angel being repelled by none other than the Blessed Virgin.

Mr. Ferrara concludes by affirming  that implicit in the message of Fatima is the Catholic teaching that God’s  mercy extends, through the Immaculate Mother of God, to souls that have recourse to Her. “That is, God deigns to allow His Mother a singular intercessory power possessed by no other human creature.”

Thus, we see something never before seen in the history of the Church: the reputed Vicar of Christ insulting Christ’s Mother at the very place of her apparitions on the 100th anniversary of Fatima. Do you think His justice is not outraged? However, who among the hierarchy defended Our Lady of Fatima and her message?  Was there any Bishop ?  I repeat, who defended Our Lady?

There is so much more that you need to understand about this, but it is very late now. Please, for the love of the Immaculata, turn to her, pray her Rosary, ask her help to perform pleasing acts of penance and a thorough and complete Consecration, both personal and of your family if appropriate.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of our hearts, Mother of the Church, do thou offer to the Eternal Father the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the conversion of poor sinners, especially our Pontiff.

Fatima, Vatican II and the Chastisement, 2

We offer the following post once more – it’s been one of our most widely circulated articles. I hope you will find it useful.

For those who have asked, here is our third installment. Previous posts were Fatima, Vatican II and the Chastisement and Seven Trumpets. Like many others in these dark and confused times, I read (and reread!)  the Apocalypse and books of Catholic prophecy by approved Catholic authors. Today, we have the benefit of a perspective that includes more history than that which was available to previous exegetes of the Apocalypse. In particular, we have the Message of Fatima, from the Queen of Heaven herself, plus the benefit of what we have observed and learned about the Second Vatican Council and its effects on the Church and the world. And with every passing day, Pope Francis and his cohort make the apostasy of the faith ever clearer.

In this series of posts, I hope to look at a few passages from St. John’s Apocalypse in the light of recent history. For our purposes, the term ‘recent’ refers to the events a little before Our Lady of the Rosary’s visits to Fatima in 1917 and on up to the present day, that is to the Synod and its sequelae. I am no expert in this, but simply offer these thoughts as an opportunity to get a discussion going. From what readers tell me, there is a real need for this, and if we can at least get people discussing it, I hope we can help spread the message of Fatima and prepare for what is to come. If you can improve on this, please be sure that I will support you, especially with my prayers. I do welcome all helpful criticism and contributions to the discussion. My email is in the sidebar.

Let’s start with Chapter 8.

[1] And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven, as it were for half an hour. [2] And I saw seven angels standing in the presence of God; and there were given to them seven trumpets. [3] And another angel came, and stood before the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given to him much incense, that he should offer of the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar, which is before the throne of God. [4] And the smoke of the incense of the prayers of the saints ascended up before God from the hand of the angel. [5] And the angel took the censer, and filled it with the fire of the altar, and cast it on the earth, and there were thunders and voices and lightnings, and a great earthquake.

[6] And the seven angels, who had the seven trumpets, prepared themselves to sound the trumpet. [7] And the first angel sounded the trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mingled with blood, and it was cast on the earth, and the third part of the earth was burnt up, and the third part of the trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. [8] And the second angel sounded the trumpet: and as it were a great mountain, burning with fire, was cast into the sea, and the third part of the sea became blood: [9] And the third part of those creatures died, which had life in the sea, and the third part of the ships was destroyed. [10] And the third angel sounded the trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, burning as it were a torch, and it fell on the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters:

[11] And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. [12] And the fourth angel sounded the trumpet, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars, so that the third part of them was darkened, and the day did not shine for a third part of it, and the night in like manner. [13] And I beheld, and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice: Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth: by reason of the rest of the voices of the three angels, who are yet to sound the trumpet.

Father Herman Kramer in his Book of Destiny  explains that the angels exemplify the invisible decrees of God, “for they later at fore-ordained moments blow the trumpets … to announce the beginning of scourges that punish infidelity. … The trumpets announce the advent of judgements. The prophets call themselves God’s trumpets when they announce the coming judgements, wars and enemies.”
