Our Lady of the Rosary, 2016

Today is the Feast of the Holy Rosary, Our Lady’s gift to her children.  The Rosary is the second best gift that the Queen of Heaven has given to her children. The first best gift is of course, Our Savior Jesus Christ!

“Non virtus, non arma, non duces, sed Maria Rosarii victores fecit.”

The Rosary Is Her Gift To Us…Not Even the Pope Can Change That

(Fundamental Reasons Why So Many Faithful Catholics Never Embraced the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary)

There is no mention whatever of the Rosary in the documents of the Second Vatican Council. Not even in the Dogmatic Constitution Lumen Gentium, whose final chapter deals exclusively with our Lady ’s role in the Church. A vague reference in Article 67 to “practices and exercises of devotion towards her” might be assumed to include it, but according to Bishop Rendeiro of Coïmbra, the Bishops who wished to add to the text “the Rosary with meditation on the Mysteries of the life of Christ and the Blessed Virgin” were voted down. Apparently the Council deemed it best to follow the recommendations of the Theological Commission and make no mention of particular devotions, for fear of encouraging manifestations of piety beyond what they termed “the limits of sound and orthodox doctrine.” …

Not for them the beloved adage of the saints, “De Maria numquam satis!” They were solicitous to “painstakingly guard against any word or deed which could lead separated brethren or anyone else into error regarding the true doctrine of the Church.” They would only concede that the Church “has endorsed many forms of piety toward the Mother of God,” forms which “have varied according to the circumstances of time and place and have reflected the diversity of native characteristics and temperament among the faithful.”

In point of fact the Rosary began at the foot of the Cross along with Sacred Heart devotion. When Our Lady appeared to St. Dominic with instructions to propagate the Rosary, she did so for the same reason that our Lord would one day appear to St. Margaret Mary. In neither case was anything new proposed to the faithful, who were merely being recalled to practices known in the Church from the beginning, but which they were in imminent danger of forgetting.

The Fifth Trumpet Part 2

Continuing with Apocalypse 9, 1-11.

And there were given to them seven trumpets...
And there were given to them seven trumpets…

Looking at Apocalypse 9 in the light of the message of Fatima: In our earlier post, “Fatima, Vatican II and the Chastisement 2″, we posited that the Fallen Star, Wormwood, refers to the disobedient Pope John XXIII. This unfortunate man refused to obey the requests of Christ and His Mother and consequently brought a spiritual darkness and disorientation upon the Church from which she has not been able to recover. The Second Vatican Council, which Pope John XXIII so proudly convened has failed by every measure to bring the spiritual renewal he boasted of. Indeed, it has been an unmitigated disaster, or more precisely, chastisement. It cannot be remedied until the Pope and Bishops of the Church obey God’s command, given by the Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima and emphasised by our Lord Jesus Christ in His apparition to Sister Lucia in Rianjo. (How Long, O Lord, How Long?)

Previously, “The Fifth Trumpet“, we looked at the second Fallen Star of Chapter 9, considering if it may be applied to Pope Paul VI. Although earlier commentators applied this prophecy to the arch-heretic Martin Luther, 500 years have passed since Martin Luther, and at this time, the figure of the Fallen Star of Chapter 9 appears most appropriate to Pope Paul VI for the reasons which we brought out in our last post. Martin Luther did immense harm to the Faith. However, the Catholic Church maintained her integrity despite his assaults; whereas, under the two Fallen Stars of Chapters 8 and 9, that is, Pope John XXIII and Paul VI, the Church has been ravaged by the enemy within, betrayed by her very “Holy Fathers”.

In our last post, we began considering the locusts, those apocalyptic monsters which have intrigued every generation for two millenia. The most popular theory of recent times has been to identify them with the muslim hordes, which do lend themselves to such speculation. Archbishop Fulton Sheen also believed that this was appropriate as we related in an earlier post, “Our Lady of Fatima and Islam” . As did Father Herman Bernard Kramer in his Book of Destiny. However, this popular premise is wrong, as we shall see.

The Message of Fatima Repost

The oldest of the shepherd children of Fatima, Lucia explained the message of Fatima to Father Fuentes years later:

Father, the Most Holy Virgin did not tell me that we are in the last times of the world, but She made me understand this for three reasons.”

The Seers of Fatima, Jacinta, Francisco and Lucia
Blessed Jacinta, Blessed Francisco and Sister Lucia of Fatima

“The first reason is because She told me that the devil is in the mood for engaging in a decisive battle against the Virgin. And a decisive battle is the final battle where one side will be victorious and the other side will suffer defeat. Also, from now on we must choose sides. Either we are for God or we are for the devil. There is no other possibility.

“The second reason is because She said to my cousins as well as to myself, that God is giving two last remedies to the world. These are the Holy Rosary and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. These are the last two remedies which signify that there will be no others.”

“The third reason is because in the plans of Divine Providence, God always, before He is about to chastise the world, exhausts all other remedies. Now, when He sees that the world pays no attention whatsoever, then as we say in our imperfect manner of speaking, He offers us with certain fear the last means of salvation, His Most Holy Mother. It is with certain fear because if you despise and repulse this ultimate means, we will not have any more forgiveness from Heaven, because we will have committed a sin which the Gospel calls the sin against the Holy Ghost. This sin consists of openly rejecting, with full knowledge and consent, the salvation which He offers. Let us remember that Jesus Christ is a very good Son and that He does not permit that we offend and despise His Most Holy Mother. We have recorded through many centuries of Church history the obvious testimony which demonstrates by the terrible chastisements which have befallen those who have attacked the honor of His Most Holy Mother, how Our Lord Jesus Christ has always defended the honor of His Mother.”

“Look, Father, the Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Rosary, to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether temporal or above all spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families, of the families of the world, or of the religious communities, or even of the life of peoples and nations, that cannot be solved by the Rosary. There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary. With the Holy Rosary we will save ourselves, we will sanctify ourselves, we will console Our Lord and obtain the salvation of many souls.”

“Finally, devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Our Most Holy Mother, consists in considering Her as the seat of mercy, of goodness and of pardon, and as the certain door by which we are to enter Heaven.”

The message of Fatima is then that we are now in a life or death struggle, even though most people are oblivious. As Sister Lucia warns us, “we must choose sides. Either we are for God or we are for the devil. There is no other possibility.” Where do you stand?

The purpose of this blog is to call Catholics to return to Fatima. Re-examine the message given to us by the Blessed Virgin Mary. Remove the blinders that are making you think that Fatima was “a long time ago, and is no longer relevant”.

Fatima’s message is more relevant today than it ever was. When Pope John XXIII refused to release the message that Our Lady commanded be released in the year 1960, the world experienced a spiritual shock: the Vicar of Christ on earth refusing to obey the Mother of Christ. Never before in history has such a thing happened.

And thus began the Chastisement.

The initial chastisement was the result of the spiritual blindness which descended upon the pope and hierarchy following their willful disobedience. When one separates himself from God by mortal sins, the darkened reason is unable to discern the correct path and stumbles into error and folly. Vatican II and its poisonous fruits, which caused unprecedented abandonment of religious vocations and the loss of faith and Catholic identity of entire nations was the fruit of this spiritual ignorance which descended upon the Church.

When God chastens us, He is merciful, indeed, His mercy and His justice are inseparable. The initial chastisement of the catastrophic Second Vatican Council could have been mitigated. If only the Pope had seen the noxious results for what they were and repented, his repentance would have brought down God’s mercy.

But the hearts of the popes were hardened and they have persisted in their arrogant disobedience of Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Mother. The result has been an unmitigated disaster for the Catholic Faith. Sister Lucia of Fatima reminds us still, God’s own Most Holy Mother is the last means of salvation we are offered. Until Catholics return to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, with humility, repentance and obedience, the Chastisement will continue to unfold, bringing with it ever more severe spiritual desolation, a desolation which will soon reach proportions never before seen, with such physical calamities that those who survive them will envy the dead.

We know that in the end, her Immaculate Heart will triumph; the only question that remains is will we choose to be hers, will we take the steps necessary to be on the winning side?

What steps are called for today, at this late hour? What can we do here in the 21st century?

To begin with, at a very minimum, we must:

Consecrate ourselves immediately to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. No specific formula is required for this, nor is any priest required for this initial step. Just kneel down now and sign yourself with the Cross, begging the Blessed Virgin Mary in her perfect purity and fullness of grace to take you as her child and help you to turn from your sins and follow her commands, trusting her to lead you to perfect obedience to Our Lord Jesus Christ. Resolve to surrender your entire being, body and soul, mind and will, to her to do with as she wills.

  • Pray Our Lady’s Rosary every day, at least one third (5 decades), but all three if possible. Optimally, pray the rosary with your family or friends whenever possible.
  • Wear Our Lady’s Brown Scapular of Mount Carmel. If you were enrolled previously, you may simply begin wearing it, if not enrolled, a priest may enroll you. Information on this may be obtained from Father Gruner’s Fatima Center. Or contact me, evensong (at) returntofatima (dot) org.
  • Obtain St. Louis de Montfort’s or St. Maximilian Kolbe’s program for Total Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Both can be found online. The true total consecration must be lived daily, indeed minute by minute. It is easy once you understand that it doesn’t depend on your effort, it depends on your constant trust in Mary, your Mother.
  • Avoid the Novus Ordo Mass and all sacraments using post-Vatican II ritual. The changes instituted by the Vatican II “reforms” are the fruits of an arrogant, disobedient faction of the true Church. Eschew all modernism and attend a true, traditional Mass such as Society of St. Pius X, Fraternal Society of St. Peter, or a traditional indult or Moto Proprio Mass.
  • Make Our Lady’s First Saturdays for at least five months in a row. Better, continue them in a spirit of reparation for all the Catholics who refuse to obey Our Lady.
  • Fulfill the duties of your state in life with humility and obedience, as a faithful child of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

As you continue on this path, you will find many more ways to live more perfectly as a child of Mary.

Take every opportunity to read more about Fatima and its true message. Pray and sacrifice daily for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary as requested by our Lady of Fatima. John Vennari’s Catholic Family News and Michael Matt’s Remnant Newspaper are dependable sources for all things related to Fatima, true Catholic teaching and the errors of Vatican II.

If at all possible, get to know other true Catholics. and above all, spread the word!

It may be too late for us to stave off a coming physical chastisement of apocalyptic proportions. We have a president who seems intent on destroying our country in order to bring about a third world style marxist dictatorship, and we have a pope who seems determined to complete the destruction of the faith begun by Vatican II. It looks as though the defiance of Pope Bergoglio, in fact his utter disdain for the Immaculate Heart of Mary and her message, will bring about a much more severe chastisement than would have been possible before he took over.

All that is left is for us to draw close to the Immaculate Heart of the Mother of God and trust in her merciful love, which will never fail us. Let us strive to save our souls and all those souls who have been entrusted to us.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, be our salvation, now and at the hour of our death!

After Such Knowledge, What Forgiveness?

This just in on Rorate Caeli in its entirety. The emphasis is mine, otherwise no changes:

Who needs conspiracy theories when the Freemasons openly celebrate Vatican II in the Eternal City? The largest and most influential Masonic organization in Italy is the Grand Orient of Italy [Grande Oriente d’Italia]. Yes, it is the very same Grand Lodge whose Grand Masters always worked for the humiliation of the Apostolic See, from the battles against Pius IX to symbolic acts of effrontery (such as Giordano Bruno’s statue in Campo de’ Fiori, a response to Leo XIII); it was also the Grand Lodge that once had jurisdiction over the well-known Propaganda Due lodge, the P2, including during the crucial years of the Vatican II Council and immediate aftermath. This Grande Oriente d’Italia hosted a conference on June 12, 2014, at Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Via Milano, Rome, to promote the book “Il Concilio Segreto” (The Secret Council), by Ignazio Ingrao. On the panel of guests invited to present the book were Marco Politi, journalist and Vaticanist for “La Repubblica” and “Il Fatto Quotidiano”; Alberto Melloni, the very influential historian and a leader of the famous “Bologna School” founded by Giuseppe Alberigo, whose purpose was to establish forevermore the “Spirit of the Council” as the official interpretation of the conciliar documents; Marinella Perroni, theologian, professor at the Pontifical Atheneum of St. Anselm, Rome (the Anselmianum, the Pontifical Benedictine university in Rome), specializing in New Testament Studies; and, last but certainly not least, Stefano Bisi, the newly elected Grand Master of the Grand Lodge. The author, Ignazio Ingrao, a highly relevant Vaticanist, was also present. The meeting was recorded and can be found here in Radio Radicale in its entirety. To give a general idea of the festive and relaxed ambience, Grand Master Bisi in his remarks is proud to say that a priest he consulted told him he certainly “could receive communion.” (Obviously, no contradiction from anyone in the room.) Below is a translation of the flyer the Grand Orient of Italy produced to promote the event: The Church of Dialogue, from the Second Vatican Council to Pope Francis “There is a Council that has never been told, the one that took place far from the limelight, in the secret conferences among bishops and cardinals, in diplomats’ meetings, in reunions among the editorial staff of newspapers, in sections of [political] parties and even among “007’s”[…] There are hosts of Russian, Polish, English, American and of course – Italian spies, who camouflage themselves amidst prelates and listeners, compiling dossiers and even able to influence the conclave that elects Paul VI. Letters from priests who ask Montini to abolish sacerdotal celibacy materialize . There is a theologian who denounces, with courage, the scandal of pedophilia in the Church, but his cry of alarm, remains, alas, unheard.” [*] [**] To understand an event as innovative and paradigmatic as the Second Vatican Council was, and to do so through a non–official reading, based, however, on testimonies and many unpublished, documents, means having the opportunity of getting to the heart of what is happening in the Church today.

The revolutionary act of Benedict XVI, the abdicating Pope, in renouncing the throne, makes [the Pope] a bishop among bishops and fulfills that collegial spirit that had strongly permeated Vatican II; the “surprise” election of Pope Francis, the first bishop in the history of the Church to come from South America to guide the people of Christ – preacher of spiritual renewal, in humility and poverty, a strategic figure in a Church that seems to have lost its center in Old Europe, but is rediscovering itself, alive and fecund, in “the south of the world”, are all developments whose origins are generally recognizable in the unprecedented event, which marked the life of the universal Church between the pontificates of John XXIII and Paul VI. Unfortunately, the ‘putting into effect’ of the Second Vatican Council during the course of the last fifty years of Church history has met obstacles and difficulties. The Church outlined by the conciliar meetings, i.e. outgoing and open to the world, willing to dialogue and sensitive to those positives seeds of modernity, has not always had an easy life. Fears, resistance and shortsightedness at times, have slowed down this necessary evolution. Many of the reforms on the agenda of Bergoglio’s pontificate refer back to the themes already discussed during the Council: from the family to the role of women, from priestly celibacy to the “poverty” of the Church, to cite just a few. In short, studying the Council of yesterday will help us to anticipate the Church of tomorrow. Pope Francis has gathered together the testimony of his predecessors and is strongly and decisively committed to the up-to-date implementation of the Council. The Church in a dialogue which is focused on the peripheries, as the Argentine Pope wants, re-proposes the model that the Council Fathers desired. Therefore, a new season of confronting themes which were left hanging has opened up. An important point of dialogue, even with the secularized and non-believers, is the one of human rights. The commitment to justice, based on the acknowledgement of the fundamental principles of natural law, characterizes the action of the Church on all latitudes and involves, not rarely, a high price to pay, even in terms of attacks and persecutions. The defense of human rights and the acknowledgement of the principles of natural law which guide the common good, may be, therefore, a useful platform to confront and discuss, for all those who have the promotion of the human person at heart.

[The last paragraph is a short presentation of Ignazio Ingrao.] Apparently, that is the Grand Lodge’s position: the Second Vatican Council was an “innovative and paradigmatic” highly positive event, which was not “put into effect” very well — but the “revolutionary abdication” of Benedict XVI that made the pope “a bishop among bishops” set the stage for its “strong and decisive implementation” by Pope Francis. Grand Master Gustavo Riffi, leader of the Grand Lodge at the time, had set the tone in his congratulating message for the election of Pope Francis: “With Pope Francis, nothing will be as before. The choice of fraternity for a Church of dialogue is clear, uncontaminated by the logic and temptations of temporal power.” (March 14, 2013) This was the same Grand Master who had criticized the Italian Episcopal Conference in the 2006 Italian election campaign, in the previous pontificate, for daring to speak up against… abortion, euthanasia, marriage during the campaign. Those days are gone for good, presumably. _________________________ * This first paragraph is an excerpt from the book — the remainder of the flyer is the presentation, by the Grand Lodge, of the Council and the present pontificate. ** In fact, much of this secret underground Council, that prepared the Council as it happened in the Vatican Basilica, has already been dissected in many books, not least “The Second Vatican Council”, by Roberto de Mattei. [Post and translation: Contributor Francesca Romana. Tip: Spanish blog Ex Orbe, whose post title is very amusing: “Our Brothers (!?) from the (other) Orient.”]  (end quote)

While the above certainly isn’t a surprise to anyone who is well informed on the apparitions of Fatima, it does beg the question, how will main stream Catholics – who defend Pope Francis with cult like fervor – spin this one? And what effect will this confirmation of the roots of the revolution in the Church have on moderate traditionalists? The ones who continue to refer to Francis as “Holy Father” and who insist that the recent canonizations must be accepted as infallible? How can they continue to ignore the obvious implications of the Masonic claim to Vatican control? This coming Fall we will see it all come to a climax. Until then, I continue to urge all, “pray the Rosary and confound the devil”. It is the only way, really.

Pope Francis and Fatima

The following is an updated repost regarding Pope Francis disdain for Fatima.

At Fatima, Our Lord Jesus Christ sent us His Beloved Mother to offer us His mercy yet again, if we heed the call to penance and reparation to her Immaculate Heart, which is the means He gives to us to save ourselves and other sinners from the wrath of His justice.

In her apparitions at Fatima and the ones following, when Sister Lucia was at her convent, Our Lady showed her Immaculate Heart and requested specific reparations be made; among them were the First Saturdays of Reparation and the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, by the Pope and the Bishops. Our Lord Jesus Christ also appeared to Lucia to request compliance with Our Lady’s wishes. The apparition of 13 June, 1929 was the most significant of the apparitions and in it, Our Blessed Mother formally requested the Consecration of Russia.

That apparition  deserves a post of its own and I am working on it, but for right now, suffice to say that the Virgin Mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ requested acts of reparation and obedience, both private, – as in our rosaries and offerings of sacrifice and penance in our daily duties – and public, – as in the First Saturdays of reparation and the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by the Pope and Bishops.

Never at any time has any Pope since Fatima propagated the acts of reparation needed. An encyclical or Moto Proprio enjoining the First Saturdays of Reparation would have helped so much. As would the simple compliance of Consecrating Russia properly. The Popes instead made “entrustments” and consecrated the world and so on; apparently dancing around the edges of the issue while dodging the actual obedience required.

And all the while, God’s wrath is building. And His signs increase as well. In the midst of the horrible apocalyptic blast at Hiroshima, devout Catholics were spared, totally untouched by the radiation. In Pope Francis’ own domain, in Buenos Aires a beautiful Eucharistic miracle was given, but went unheeded by this Pope who evidently has a tin ear for the Eucharistic sacrifice.

Vatican II was a severe chastisement for the Church and its work of destroying the Church is coming to a climax shortly. The Vatican II wrecking crew have so thoroughly done their jobs that few Catholics today have any inkling of the true faith. Therefore, they are not that distressed in the unfortunate utterances of Pope Francis and his gaffe of the day routine. Even traditional Catholics did not object at Pope Begoglio’s awful consecration of his reign to Our Lady of Fatima. If sincere, he should have gone to Fatima and humbled himself and personally consecrated his pontificate to Our Lady of Fatima, humbly vowing to be obedient to her demands, all of them!

Since this post was originally written, we have had yet another “entrustment” of the world, which is becoming insulting. To understand how insulting these continued false consecrations, or entrustments of the world are, I offer an example.  Continue reading “Pope Francis and Fatima”
